I, okay actual we, the Little People and me, received such wonderful feedback for our efforts for National Doughnut Day, that I first want to thank you all.

But, I was afraid that some of you, might decide to work with Little People, and I feel I must warn you. They have limited integrity!!

Who knew, there isn't a National Boats and Bourbon Day? I do now!! Seems it was only an excuse to drink my bourbon!!!

Please, be careful with these little SOBs, they will lead one astray!

Imagine this situation. You're in bed asleep at 3:00 AM when you hear noise downstairs. You pick up your shotgun and walk quietly down the stairs. You see a burglar going through drawers and cabinets. He hears you approach and starts walking toward you. You immediately fire your shotgun at him, but he keeps coming. You fire another shot, and it passes right through him. Scary, but unlikely.

What's even worse is the situation with the drugs that doctors are firing at germs. Germs have adapted and become resistant to just about everything we can throw at them. Penicillin used to be a wonder drug, able to cure just about anything. Not any more. Diseases have killed billions of people, and we have struggled to stay one step ahead of them. If we cannot find a way to deal with these superbugs, we'll be in big trouble.

When my wife was in the hospital a few years ago, I went for a visit and was told that she had contracted MRSA. I knew enough about that to be concerned. They said it was nothing to worry about and that many people contracted that in hospitals. Still, every person who entered her room had to put on a gown, gloves, and a mask. Before leaving, we had to remove everything and place it in a special receptacle and disinfect our hands. Although this was routine for the hospital staff, it was scary to me.

An online article about drug-resistant germs is what prompted me to post this.

Yesterday I took two sequential shots,JPEGs, of a surf shack being rebuilt after last winter's storms and the EXIF data shows the exact same information for both: Nikon D610, 28-300 lens @ 55mm, aperature priority f/8, 1/3000 sec, ISO 800, EV=0 with auto WB. As one can see, the two exposures look quite different, the #1 being much lighter than the #2. The histograms do show a difference also where #1 is more ETTR than the #2. My question is: does anyone have any ideas what may have caused this? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Yes, $15.00 per hour is better. Who wouldn't want a pay raise? But sooner or later, they will all want a pay raise to $20.00+ per hour, and then the same pay as diesel mechanics, nurses, plumbers, teachers, carpenters, and computer programmers. You want more money, learn a skilled trade. I worked minimum wage part time a long time ago, during and after High School like millions did, in a fast food facility. It was not suppose to be a lifetime job for me. It's not intended to raise an entire family on.
