heres a fun project for you get a copy of the book Photo Secrets S.D and try to take the same pictures from the same spot that it shows in the book that will keep you busy for awhile. I tried it once years ago shooting film.it was alot of fun alot cheaper with digital.an you will get a dif.view of S.D.

did you shoot these from the Pt.Loma Lighthouse? if not try shooting from there it is a great place to shoot from and it only costs $5.00 to get in and is good for 7 days. I was there 2 weeks ago the first time in years.

Jackson Hole in feb is cold but beautiful. try to get over to the Tetons you will get some great photos.dress warm and enjoy your trip.

the rockies are beautiful dont miss Banff or Lake Louise a cpl is a must have.also if you get a chance try try taking a train ride you wont regret it.you can call or email both Alaska and Canadian tourist dept and get maps and information to help you plan your trip all free it saves time when you get there.

I bought the Tamron 18 to 270 for my sony a65 a couple of months ago an so far I like it alot.has great range for the type of photography I do.for nicon you want to get the 18 to 270 di ll vc pzd. there was a $100 rebate on it dont know if that is still offered.I got my rebate ckeck back in 10 days.lens was $529. after rebate.

you also have Sutters Fort and Fairytale town in Sac. I dont think I would try to get to Yosemite at that time due to the snows that we have had but if hwy 80 is open you might be able to get to Lake Tahoe it is about 2 to 3 hours drive from Sac. but be sure to check the roads and the weather before you go if there is any chance of bad weather dont go.stop at the vistors center and p/u a map of the area suronding Sac.an plan your trip around that that will give you up to date information of whats going on.have a great and a safe trip.there is much to see in that area.

I just bought a CPL I bought the Pro Master for my Tamron 18 to 270 and I like it so far.
