The D750 is a terrific camera. I paired it with a Sigma 24-70 F 2.8 Art Lens. The sharpness is incredible. The D810 is also amazibg.
Hello. I was looking for David Busch's Nikon D750 Guide to Digital SLR Photography book also. The book is out of print. The information I have is that David is working with another publisher. The book can be purchased in pdf format at
www.laserfairepress.com for $18.99 payable by PayPal or credit card.
Whenever I buy a new camera the first 'must have accessory is David Bush's guide and also the field guide he publishes. I hope this information helps you.
I also have used Watson batteries for many years and in many different cameras Nikon and Canon included with no problem whatsoever. They are cheaper than the Nikon brand. As someone stated already Nikon does not make batteries so who knows ... a Nikon may be a Watson in disguise.
The above ice sculpture photo posted by me was photographed by me and as such, I maintain the rights to this photo. If admin determines otherwise, please delete this photo. I will not assign rights to it to anyone. Thank you.
Wow, this knowledge is powerful! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'm joining everyone else, no more photos posted from me. Unfortunately, doing so inhibits the intent of this forum...especially the photo critique section. How can we learn from others if we cannot post examples!
I await an answer from 'admin' along with everyone else.
If anyone has another forum without that rule, please let me know. THANK YOU!!!!

How do I use the rocket technique on a Canon G12?
I have this same problem. My Nikon D70S has never given me a problem with this.
Thank you for your help.
Please providedirections on the rocket fix..I have the same problem. Thx.
I have used HDR to photograph ice sculptures with astonishing results. Yes, I do use a tripod as it is impossible to hand hold for the 3 shots to be taken. Even a minimal movement from breathing can impact the shots. It is good to know other photographers are also using the HDR process.
Great pic....the sky color really compliments the door and warms the photo
Hello.....sorry that I cannot help you with the sky. But, I am interesed in the process to transfer the photo to wood.
Would you mind providing the details? That would be appreciated. Thank you.
Great shot and the cheesy was cute too!
Good luck with your endeavor. I was the wedding photographer for several family weddings...300 guests, the swankiest setting in town. Did all the albums, prints, etc. gave it to them as their wedding gift.
Word does get around as their friends really liked their photos, the albums, the cd, etc. Hence, more business! Be sure to get that important paperwork through.
It would be fun to see your photos...hope you post some.
Keep your camera inside the coat as much as possible to keep battery warm. Shooting in hdr should yield fantastic results.....done it many times...definitely need a tripod. The light source is a concern. In Alaska the sculptures are outside and are colored via light boxs and photograph best at night. Not sure what your setup willow be in Florida.
Hello Everyone, Thank you for your honest critique!! The copyright is in black at the left side bottom of the bridge. The sunspots are a bit of a distraction but thought they gave a bit of life to the photo. For anyone who is not familiar with Alaska, during winter there are days of very little sun; however, in the summertime there are days of almost 24 hours sunlight. So with that in mind, the sunspots were left in the photol
Thanks again for the wonderful critique!
