in the last couple of years they have redone the philly waterfront if you take a boat ride you can get some pictures of the philly skyline. Genos has the best Philly Cheasesteaks. as far as soft pretzels go they will have them at the airport but the Pretzel Factory has stands all over the city and are cheaper 3 for a dollar.have a great trip.

I have always belived that you can be good at anything you want to be good at; if you are willing to put in the time and the effort to reach that goal.most of us are part time photographers who take pictures for are own enjoyment.we have jobs and famileys and cannot spend as maney hours as we would like taking pictures.but by reading books and shooting 100s of pictures an trying diff.settings;lighting;an shooting diff.scenes we strive to get to be the best that we can be with our photography.after all the pictures we take mean diff. things to each of us. some are to capture memories of a certain time in our lives or a place we might never get to see again. As we contiune to shoot pictures t/o our lives I find that if we are not happy we what pictures we shoot we will find out why we dont like the picture and we will find a way to make it better. You have to put in the time and effort if you want to get better. I think this is the same for anything you do in Life.So keep shooting an enjoy life after all you cant please everyone.

I have the nicon aw100 which is great. there are some nice w/p cameras at walmart for around $100.00 that would be perfect for your trip. the nicon aw100 is around $300.but I do alot of rafting and skiing which is why I got it. as for taking a dslr on the water I take my sony a65 with me all the time but keep it in a Pelican 1400 case totaley w/p and tie it to the boat if in whitewater and it is handy if I am in clam water.I never had a problem. have a great trip.
