Since I added a polorizer lense on my Canon EOS R there has been a purple out line on trees which I don’t always see thru the viewfinder. I remove most of it when I process the image thru photos.
Short of removing the filter what do you suggest ?

What was the object of adding the "Filter" in the first place? Do you shoot everything using it rather than a UV Filter?

Thanks

I saw this in the daily Kim Kommando news email. She listed 10 major tech company phone numbers & other methods of getting to them:

I also included links for those who would rather use a contact form or chat service.”

There are no links included?

Thank for the phone numbers though.

I am using a 27" iMac and a 27" second monitor and do not see any banding. Could you try to indicate where you are seeing it.
Thanks

In my opinion, the pleasure and impact of your first two was lost without color.

I agree totally. The color shots were very good, much better than the B/W.

They look real good. I would be happy with them if I had taken the photos.

You have an iMac with 8GB of RAM which is 2 4GB chips. The 27" iMac has 4 RAM slots so you can just leave the 2 - 4GB chips there and add 2 - 16GB chips and end up with 40GB of RAM just like the one I am trying on right now. It works great.

And as the other user said go to Other World Computing, macsales.com and they are great and even have live, human phone technical support if you need it.

Good luck

Remember that there could be a lot of mildew between the inner and outer layers of the backpack that you cannot see or reach with your cleaning method.

You really should do the "Washing Machine" solution or take it to your dry cleaner and have it done correctly. Is a $15 backpack worth more than your expensive lenses or camera?? Probably not.

Have you tried returning it to Adorama?

Money wise it might be worth a try.

Why are you selling it?

It seems like and excellent unit.

Just curious.

Really great photos.

But I think you should redo your meters to feet calculations.

Folks,

I was surprised by some loss of detail in a photo that I took a couple of days ago. I think that I am looking at JPEG artifacts but would appreciate confirmation or other ideas. I normally shoot JPEG because for the vast majority of my photos, the JPEG compression doesn't cause my any pain. I think that it bit me this time, though.

The subject is a couple of bald cypress tree trunks so there is a ton of rapidly changing detail in the source material. I shot this with a Nikon Z 5 in Fine* mode. For those of you not familiar with Fine* mode, it is Nikon's Fine mode with the compression tuned for better detail instead of file size.

Nikon Z 5, Fine* mode
Tamron 150-600 VR G2 at 500mm, VR3 mode
F11
1/1600
ISO 4000

Thanks,
