I read somewhere that some people don't use lens caps when the have a UV filter on?
Is this kosher?
Thank for that information. It is very helpful for the novice.

PS
Redleg????
I did not serve so I am asking for my own info.
In movies and TV when shooting artillery it seem that they fire on the same place over and over, they don't seem to move the gun. Do the shells hit different targets? Is this what's meant by Field of fire?
Thanks
John

He couldn't afford a tach?
He just said he didn't have a tach, I don't know the reason.
One of my Fraternity brothers had one. Many times he offered rides to the house from school. He kept the drivers window open so he could hear the shift points. Not much fun during Boston winters.

I think I get tired of people reading something on the internet and believing it must be true.
Can we just take a break from the death of Nikon, Cannon DSLR's
Right On Jerry! My better half gave me a pre-printed list for packing. She thought it was a gag gift. I love it!

My wife and I are going to Nova Scotia first of August. I am taking my Nikon 5600. And probably a 55-200 Nikon lens. I have others I could choose from 18-400 Tamron, 14 mm Nikon, 50mm 1.8 Nikon, 40mm macro. I don't want to carry a lot. Also what SD cards to you recommend. I only shoot JPEG (no lectures please).
Thanks for your advice.

PS any ideas for a small camera case.
Great pictures! In the last picture, who do the busts represent?

I just had a great experience with MPB. We had agreed on a price on a lens I was sending them. When they got it they upgraded the lens and paid more than we agreed on. It was just a small amount but something they did not have to do.

I would like to organize my photos - It seems LR is the best way.
Right now I use File Explorer in Windows. It seems that you must sort by year in LR, I don't know what year they were taken and if I did it would not help in retrieving them. Right now in File Explorer they are in files Like - All Travel - Bridges - Hot Air Balloons, etc. With sub folders breaking them down further eg - under Bridges - Covered Bridges NH - Covered Bridges MA. Some folders may have just 1 picture. How can I get this in LR? Does LR read the labels currently on the files, do you make them up as you go? The LR site is not helping so I am turning to my good friends on Ugly Hedgehog. Thanks again
