But actually, it's the result of the phone camera design. It's awkward using the phone in landscape orientation, especially trying to use it with one hand.
Not if you hold it correctly. Cup your left hand with your fingers pointing straight and level to your left. Put the phone in the landscape position against your palm with your thumb on the top edge and your pinkie on the bottom, screen facing toward you. With practice it becomes quite comfortable and easy to use. Press the shutter button with your right hand.
