Lacking rcarol's expertise, I quite like the roses. I might like the first shot better with the blossoms to the right cropped out, but a practiced viewer's eye can do that for him/herself.

Thanks for sharing.

It kind of looks as if he is, doesn't it. It was so nice to catch one of these guys NOT at a feeder.

It does indeed, and I'm sure the photographer was smiling to catch this spectacular pose. Nice shot!

I have the Nikon D850 and use it with my 300mm PF f4 lens combined with the AF-S TC-14E III teleconverter which gives me a combined focal length of 420mm. I find that there is very little optical quality loss using the teleconverter and I'm very happy with the combination.

Beautiful! Quick lesson in how to close a debate with a perfect illustration. Just sayin’.

It could be a crow. Or, it could be a raven.
Scientifically, a raven has 17 primary wing feathers. The big ones at the end of the wing are called pinion feathers. A crow has 16. So, the difference between a crow and a raven is a matter of a pinion.

Surely that does not say “Failing!” “Sailing?”

Like the pensive shot. Looks spontaneous.

and we are still over populated....

Not suggesting this means you ARE, but to those who rally to population control as the world's solution, I ask, "Why are you still here?" I understand the threat of overpopulation, but if this is a discussion aimed at promoting programmed kill-offs, like some are incredibly accusing poor Bill Gates of contriving with his vaccine potion, or like rehashing the ethnic cleansing agenda bragged about by Margaret Sanger, we all need to turn off the computers and go take pictures.

Interesting reading... well, unless you limit yourself to only those writers of news who get thrills trickling down their legs when they hear someone like Obama read a speech. (Bet he regrets admitting that personal excitement on a national broadcast.)

This is “far left” only if that implies rejecting science. You may wear a aluminum foil hat and follow the flat earthers if you want to, but I will not.

Classic example of "best defense" is an obnoxious insult. Talk about stereotyping and the "if they don't think as I do, they're deplorables" mentality!

Science is self-correcting as several try to duplicate the results of another. There is a reason why Galileo is honored but “flat earthers” and “Cold Fushion” are the endings of jokes.

Science often takes decades to self-correct. Or longer. History sometimes never self-corrects. As much as we want to hope JFK was assassinated by a sole gunman, a great many people of all descriptions will be pondering that one forever. And this CovidScare will prove to be a head-screwing mix of both those studies. Too many inconsistencies for that NOT to be the case.

True enough, in general. I think the reference was to Snopes being "liberal" and thus a "suspect" tool for checking the veracity of "fact vs fiction." That really isn't a knucklehead observation. It only requires that one check multiple sources to see that any event that does not support the prevailing point of view of the national press and the democrat party, even when found to be mostly true, will be hemmed and hawed to dirtiness just because Snopes can't let itself say, yes, that is true. On the other hand, Snopes will dismiss all sorts of shades of gray in support of an event it can say "True" about when one of the holy anointed has said it.

https://www.truthorfiction.com/ comes much closer to be an unbiased source... or at least seeming to. God only knows who out there is telling the truth these days. It sure as hell ain't Bill Gates.

Don’t forget MPB, they buy and usually offer more that A, B&H, and KEH. I’ve sold to them and all transactions were hassle free and fast.

Between the 2, I've found KEH offers more, but you can put in your list to both to get comparison quotes. I suspect it depends upon what they have and feel they can most easily sell at that given time.
