I'm very happy with my 50 megapixel Canon. Quite frankly, or robinly, as far as I'm concerned my 30 megapixel Canon is more than adequate. I actually use the 30 megapixel camera far more often than the 50 megapixel camera. For one, the 30 megapixel files consume considerably less space and are easier to edit. Drop down from 30 to 24 megapixels and you save even more space and time in post. As far as I'm concerned, packing more than 50 megapixels onto a 35mm full frame sensor is pushing the bleeding edge of what current technology can effectively cope with and doing it on a crop frame sensor is worse. Anyone who knows the mechanics of how these sensors actually work knows what I'm babbling on about.

BMW... Nuff said...

That's awfully rude, actually too much said. Do you even own a motorcycle? From what I read, the OP is more into the ultimate in touring comfort, not an oversized sports bike that calls it's self a touring bike because it has detachable luggage. Also, from what I've read, the BMW can't hold a candle to the Goldwing on the open road on a long distance ride. By the way, I do own a motorcycle and ride often.

Your new Goldwing is beautiful. We must go riding some time. How is your wife's bike coming along?

The best lens in the world won’t do much for a 12mp camera!!!
Get a 50mp camera instead!!!

That's what I did. I believe the folks that say a better camera can't record better photos either have never used a better camera or simply can't afford one. The difference in many images from an 18 megapixel and a 50 megapixel camera is in the details and is akin to night and day.

You just remind of a friend of mine that has a wife, an ex he loves to hate but run to when she needs help, five girls (12 to 25) two bitches (dogs) and a mare. Says he hate 'females' but when asked why he stays answers: 'What would I do?'

Some folks are just masochists.

I can't decide whether your response is good or bad.
My less significant other and I have 3 daughters, all of which have young children. We have 1 beautiful dog and 2 chrome ponies. Your friend says he hates females; sounds like a 2 bit cop out or he needs to seek professional help.
I refer to my partner as my less significant other not because of being inferior, it simply because I'm the more gregarious half of the partnership. Unlike your friend, I don't have a wife or an ex I love to hate. There are both males and females I dislike and even a few I may wish bad things will happen to, but I believe in carma, the great cosmic equalizer.

I can not say it better. When the 9120 came out Adorama was dumping the 9020s for $50 free shipping!! [list price was $200] The amazing afterglow is that 3 party ink is available for a low price. Each color has its cart and there is a Text pigmented Black as well as the photo black. There is the 5th color which is a light blue, the 91 bosts of a light gray... Bet ya, kant see the diff!!

As much as I preach use the printer once a week, aaaa confession two months went by and no it did not plug ... gave a fine print.

The only problem I have had is that with my PSPro 2018 the print image was jammed to one side... but the PSP X9 printed fine... not the printers fault... just a heads up to ownrs. The edit program problem may be solved by now.

I love that little 9020. For what it costs to run you can't beat it.
I'm having some problems with my Pro-10. It didn't get used for a while and I had to run it through a few cleaning cycles the get all the colors working. I don't know if it's a profile problem or there are still clogged jets but the colors are way off when it prints.
Ever since I installed the Pro-100 I only use the Pro-10 for special prints.

Ok great you have a D850, good for you. And lets see here, the Nikkor 24-70 f2.8 isnt sharp, is the Tamron Sharp? And all you take are snapshots.
I'm sorry but its not the camera, its not the lens, its you!
Learn to use the tool, 6 good megapixels will do a nice 11x14, I've got great pics using a Fuji S-1 pro with an old 24-120 pre VR, I'm no pro, but I'm proud of my work.
I think its kind of like buying your own conch shell with nothing to say (Lord of the Flies)
The following were taken either with S-1 Pro or Coolpix 5000, 3.5 and 5 mgpxls
But if you're good! (David Pine) need Hyper prints or cropping Mega megapixels the D850 will certainly be more than enough

So, what was the point of this rant!? Is my Tamron sharp? It's sharp enough. Do I have a D850? No, I have to settle for my older 5DSr. I don't have a Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 but I do have a Canon. I do have an EF 85 f/1.2, now there's a bokehlishious lens. I take lots of snapshots and composed photographs. I have a Nikkor 200-500 f/5.6 and a Sigma 150-600 Sport. My smallest lens is an EF 40 f/2.8 pancake lens. I bought a Tamron SP 70-200 f/2.8 when they first came out. The sales guy said it was as good as the Canon and $500 less expensive. It's not as good as the Canon, although it's darn close and it's not off white with a red band. I've got several black and off white lenses with a pretty red band. I believe they put the red band on the lens so they can charge more.
My widest lens is 11 mm and my narrowest is 600 mm and my favorite is 28-300 mm, Canon not Nikkor, although I do have one. My favorite Nikkor lens is 16-80; and when I say favorite I mean used most often.
I have a 3 mpx, a 6 mpx, a couple 8 mpx, a 10 mpx, a 15 mpx, a few 18 mpx, several 20 and 24 mpx, a 30 and a 50 mpx and a few I don't even know how many megapixels the sensor is; so what?!
I take nice photos and crappy photos. The vast majority of my photos are snapshots that rarely anyone else but myself will ever see.
My dog may not be bigger than your dog but it's no doubt friendlier.
My car, truck and motorcycle are all shades of red and red is not my favorite color. Ironically I live in a red brick house.
Well I think that about covers it. I'm me and you are you and sorry it is the camera because without, you cannot capture that fleeting moment in time. Have a really super pleasant, productive and prosperous day.

The best smaller Canon printer I've come across is the touch screen model TS 9020. I've had this printer for a couple years and have printed hundreds of photos with it, sizes from 4X5 to 8.5X11. This printer is also a scanner/copier. It prints brilliant color prints and amazing black and white prints. It also does an excellent job on documents.
I own a Pro 100 and a Pro 10 and two other Canon printers but the TS9020 has become my go-to printer for smaller photo prints. I can't say enough good things about this printer.
