When I wear a mask in public:
* I want you to know that I am educated enough to know that I could be asymptomatic and still give you the v***s.
* No, I don’t “live in fear” of the v***s; I just want to be part of the solution, not the problem.
* I don’t feel like the “government is controlling me;” I feel like I’m being a contributing adult to society and I want to teach others the same.
* The world doesn’t revolve around me. It’s not all about me and my comfort.
* If we all could live with other people's consideration in mind, this whole world would be a much better place.
* Wearing a mask doesn’t make me weak, scared, stupid, or even “controlled.” It makes me considerate.
* When you think about how you look, how uncomfortable it is, or what others think of you, just imagine someone close to you - a child, a father, a mother, grandparent, aunt, or uncle - choking on a respirator , alone without you or any family member allowed at bedside.
* Ask yourself if you could have sucked it up a little for them.

Well stated and thank you for what should be a PSA at least once a week as a reminder and a mind set changer.

The fire department recommended that we discharge or 30-year-old fire extinguisher before discarding it and buy a new one. Thinking that I must post a Facebook PSA about checking your old extinguisher, I snapped a few shots with my cel phone after I discharged it near our back steps. The sunbeam streaming through the trees created an unexpected bit of artistry.

You probably tried, but did you try any editing or B&W Versions? Accidental greatness is rewarding. By the way, you may want to see if a collector wants your extinguisher. I have a number of them (part of an accidental collection), but couldn’t put out a fire.

His father said he'd make a deal with his son, "You bring your grades up from a C to a B average, study your Bible a little and get your hair cut. Then we'll talk about the car."

The boy thought about that for a moment, decided he'd settle for the offer and they agreed on it.

After about six weeks his father said, "Son, you've brought your grades up and I've observed that you have been studying your Bible, but I'm disappointed you haven't had your hair cut."

The boy said, "You know, Dad, I've been thinking about that, and I've noticed in my studies of the Bible that Samson had long hair, John the Baptist had long hair, Moses had long hair, and there's even strong evidence that Jesus had long hair."

(You're going to love the Dad's reply!)

"Did you also notice that they all walked everywhere they went?"

This is a surprisingly good movie - "Knives Out." It's a humorous murder mystery with an amazing cast. Daniel Craig (James Bond) has a heavy southern accent. Amazon Prime.

It is great and a lot of fun. One of the most entertaining movies I’ve seen in a while.

GMC is still alive and well. Never left and Chevrolet trucks coexist as well. There was talk of merging the two into one truck brand during the eighties, but it never happened.

I have a friend who is trying to get into DSL cameras. Would this be a good camera for someone who is upgrading from a point and shoot?

I found it to be a great upgrade and it is a entry level DSL camera. I was very happy with this transition from point and shoot. What a difference.

Not sure the year, but the price might narrow it. Little envelope/packet for photo. Found while scanning photos for genealogy.
