Not sure the year, but the price might narrow it. Little envelope/packet for photo. Found while scanning photos for genealogy.

Those were the days. Life was simpler then, or was it?

I would guess this is from the 1950's or early 60's. It would seem to be somewhat after the non Kodak world began processing color film and before it became normal to drop Kodak color film off at your normal retail outlet for developing at deeply "discounted" prices. This is just my guess.

The way I understood it that they don't return the negative when you send film for processing.

Yea, simpler, women used mops instead of vacuum cleaners, refrigerators used ice instead of electricity, you had to get an operator on the line to call anyone, surgeries were not always safe, and digital was a twinkle in someones eyes. Yea, simpler, I think not.

well, it's before zip codes were used, so that means before the very early 60's. Wonder if they're still holding the negatives if you want to get a copy.

Back before I got serious, I tossed the negatives. “What am I going to do with this?” I thought.

I would think this is pre 1963 when zip codes were introduced.

Today that would be like reformatting your memory card with the images still on it without making a backup.

The roll development with 8 prints for 25 cents is a tip off. Pre WW2 maybe.
