And before turn signal blinkers how did we signal a turn?
We signaled a turn and slowing down by sticking our left arm out the window: arm up in a right angle, right turn; arm straight out and parallel to the ground, a left turn; arm pointing to the ground, slowing down.
Haven't thought about that for some time. :-}

I vote for none of the three presented locations. Put it directly over the guest bed. ;-}

You... You... You burned my eyes out. And seared that image into my brain.

Thanks for posting this beautiful set. Switzerland is such a photogenic country, albeit a tad expensive. For me, my favorite is number 6. It is so nice to be high up and see the Swiss architecture villages far below, all the green flora, and the many waterfalls cascading down.
Tks again,
Chuck
Such a beautiful set of pictures. Thank you for posting the originals.
Chuck
Jim,
Please post your original and a picture of your canvas picture as Bill-de did. We're just quessing.
Tks,
Chuck
Beautiful colors.
Thanks for posting the original.

I haven't read all the responses, but I agree with Gene51. Next time say, "If I kept all the pictures I rejected, my files would be overloaded and unmanageable. Those rejected photo images were deleted."
Dealing w/the public is always interesting.

LOL, if I remember correctly, Sassie thought that was a "corney" song. It may be, but I've always have really liked it.

Thanks for posting and posting the originals. You've taken some absolutely great BIF shots.

What is the velocity of a hawk or eagle ? Try that with a slow lens.
It depends on the amount of available light.
All 3 are beautiful pictures, but there has to be a funny quip for the third shot. How about, "Do you want to go and pick up that little barking dog or shall I?" (That actually happened at a trailer-park camping ground in Alaska.)
Thanks for posting, I enjoyed them,
Chuck

I realize you joined UHH only recently and haven't had time to recognize frequent contributors like CHG_CANON, nor the etiquette that most UHHers observe. Your posting, followed by your above remark, comes across as a trap posting. May I suggest that you might have said, "I'd like to explore the need for fast lenses give the advances of digital cameras and Post Processing."
I look forward to viewing some of your work with less expensive/slower lenses.
