Red ink, the very notion that there are people that think he is some sort of hero for "bailing out the economy" is absolutely rediculous. Using taxpayer money to bail out private business is wrong. 90% of that money went to pay off unions, wall street banks, and the people still lost jobs, houses and the economy still shrank. But wall street campain contributors still have all their lives...WTF. Your holier than thou bull is just that BULL.

Well, I was a full time so called Union boss for 17 years and we were not bailed out. I've been a union card carrying union member since 1966. Those employees at GM gave alot back to their company to get it back to where it is. You just don't know what the hell you are talking about young man, just like about most of those who open their mouth before they see past the end of there nose here on this forum who blast the President. You haven't walked in a union workers shoes and until you do you can't even understand what the hell you are talking about so get some education about the GM union workers. I was not a GM union worker but an injury to one union worker is an injury to all us union folks. If it wasn't for unions in this country guy's like Romney would have had you working for peanuts and long hours over 40 in a week and no vacation time and retirement benefits. So take an education about what unions have done for you and your political friends.

Why is it that all the automakers in the south all are profitable? Maybe the right to work law works. Unemplyment is lower in those states also. Don't have to be too smart to figure that out. Just came out the taxpayers are going to lose 25 billion on the GM bailout.

Thank God for the Dems disapproval of Ryan for VP. At least the election can proceed on that positive note.
It'll be exciting to see the sharp contrasts that exist between Ryan and Biden, not the least of which is Ryan is a very intelligent individual.

Biden is better at providing us with a laugh than he is at bringing something to the office of Vice President, I think that no one expects for Biden to outshine Ryan in the debates, but that really is a non-issue as it still comes down to Romney vs president Obama, but for me what is exciting is that Ryan will help Romney to solidify and articulate a vision for moving forward and America will have the opportunity to make a decision based on substantive issues rather than the president's empty rhetoric and class warfare.

That is exactly what I think too, that Ryan will "solidify and articulate" the Republican vision for America. And it will be rejected by America.

Hat! You can't possibly be an American you can't spell and for sure you don't know how to give our President due respect by using his title when addressing his name so don't give me that crap that you are a true American.

He might be your pres but I dont conciter him mine He promest to cut the dept in his first term or he would be a one term pres. I hope he keeps his word. But he lied about everything else so I guess he wont keep that one eather. O by the way I think he will get in again because there are more people with their hand out than us thinking folks. Good luck but I think your in for getting your butt with a big bite out of. Dont come back to us because we told you so. Im 82 and never learnd to type. Sorry if I ofend you.

I'm glad to hear a person of your age still concerned about the future of this great country. I'm retired too and 65. I have a problem with the Republicans wanting to cut this and that and not realizing what the hell it will do to our younger generation. Our industrial base was let go by the past two republican Presidents. We had a great surplus under Bill Clinton and they blew it away. President Obama inherited a huge mess and frankly speaking did one hell of a job getting us out of the ditch sort of speak. We are headed in the right direction but it is not fast enough. I firmly believe most of the opposition to the President out in public circles is mostly about the race issue. Up here in MN there are alot of people who just would rather see a black person go back to being a slave. I even hear the race issue being spoken amongst my family and my wifes side. It's all based on the fact they can't except the idea a black person is more educated then they are and has more money than they do at the time. In my job I worked with every different nationality because it was my job to help them out. I never looked at them as any different than I was but some of my immediate family didn't seem to except a black or anyone other than a white. I was in the Army for three years during the Viet Nam war and seen great sacrifices other nationalities gave for this country. I think mr. Romney will loose and in a big way. The Republicans are hell bent on and have been obstructing the President in every way and I think the American people have seen that. We could have unemployment below 7.8% or lower with alot more jobs out there. It is terrible how the Republicans have just avoided their responsibility for the American people. They should be ashamed of themselves. I hope the President wins and gains control of the House and Senate. He needs to be able to have a majority to once in for all put the Republicans in their place. It is rotten to the chore to think Mr. Romney wants to take away from the middles class and poor and give huge tax breaks to the rich.

====
Hunter Lou 1947, you would do well to take some time out from politics. Perhaps block out all news 2 weeks before the election and set your alarm for early morning November 8th and go and vote.

What? Can't you take the heat that the Republicans have already lost the election because of "TAX DODGER ROMNEY" Remember "TAX DODGER ROMNEY"

just read a poll from fox news that obama is up by 9 points. It will be interesting to see if Ryan improves this poll or if it makes the republicans tank

Info... CNN - Quick Vote shows "Are you more or less likely to support Romney now that he's chosen Ryan as his running mate?"

Less likely-----66%
More likely-----34%

Go Obama GO!!

Isn't CNN that channel that was way on top of the ratings until all they did was promote the liberal side?

Anyone who is on medicare should not vote this man to office. Additionally, he should resign his current position prior to the election.

I am on medicare and will vote for Romney-Ryan. You must not be familiar with the actual plan.
