Except for this site I would have never know of "shutter count". I have a D5600 Nikon and I have looked at every feature on it, took shots and looked at any place showing it, I have two books on D5600 one by Busch and one for Dummies, neither mentions a shutter count nor how to achieve it. Is it available on Nikon D5600? and If so how to access it?

From our trip through such a place the boat captain said it was much more breath taking during a rain with water cascading down the sides.

Forty years ago I quit CR when I noticed Consumer Reports was rating products made exactly alike on same assembly line with name of product being the only difference yet CR was reporting different ratings and complaints. Today with all the internet has to offer about nearly every product under the sun and real people in their own words with complaints and recommendations then why pay for opinionated results to just make headlines and articles. In my opinion.

My first camera was a Nikon FE, couldn't afford the F and the FM was only manuel. Believe me the FE NEVER made the first auto-focus that was any good. My new cheap F5600 can be made to operate manual. But a babies smile is fleeting, butterflies don't sit on a flower long all while I convert it to manual. Life is fleeting and at 82 years old the two manuals I bought, though explicit, are too darn long for my tired old brain to memorize all the functions of the fourteen buttons and mydrid setting on the screen. Life is good.

I use an IV filter to protect the lens from dust and getting scratched. Filters age much cheaper than lens.

I am a 82 year old novice. When you buy a Nikon they assume you know everything about the camera, its functionality, limitations so all they give you is a for diagram of the button names. Nikon For Dummies for my particular camera was fair and helpful but the one for my camera by David Busch was far easier to use and helped me a lot.
