Quite frankly this reads like the rush pig. I am looking at exemption based on religion.

If one gets a special treatment resulting in a financial advantage one needs to make a choice:
Pay taxes, achieve and get independence
Claim exemption and abide by what comes with it.

This where the choice lies.

Personal issues, beliefs and lifestyle choices are irrelevant.

Actually no because I was not aware of it, sorry, no harm intended against you, just a pointed attack against the screams against illegal immigrants (and poor insured) using the ER

On the original post...

1. Individual mandate - everyone must have insurance (who pays, and for what? MAIN QUESTION)
2. Children can remain on their parents policy until age 26. (for children that goes for college so all other get a blanket coverage, this not a fair system, even if egalitarian)
3. The prescription donut hole for seniors is eliminated. (ah! this remains to be seen)
4. Children can not be excluded for pre-existing conditions. (No one can argue with that but what about preexisting conditions that declares themselves later on?)
5. Preventative health care is expanded. (If well organized. "I come here to help" pops into mind here)
6. Contraception (with religious exceptions) is covered. After reflection... I kind of want to defecate on that. If these religions have a monetary support under the 'no taxation' they have to provide everything under the federal law.
7. Women cannot be charged more for insurance than men. (I was not aware of that but then again...)
8. Women do not need a referral to see an OB/GYN (Actually, they do)
9. No lifetime dollar limits on coverage. (Agree)
10. 80 cents of every policy dollar has to be spent on health care. (You really think this will happen, even if set by law? SS contribution was supposed to be ONLY for SS but a small added line opened the doors to IOUs, meaning any agency could borrow but where never forced to pay back. With all the IOUs, the SS is wealthy)
11. Adults cannot be excluded for pre-existing conditions. (see #4)
12. National debt decreased by $100 billion (CBO estimates) (ok, here, I am sorry but I have to change my pants)
1. Individual mandate - everyone must have insura... (show quote)
The funny part is that despite my strong objections I believe there is a new for health coverage for all. The financing part and the distribution is flawed. I would support a 2 to 5% federal sales tax to cover the cost, that way everyone pays, even the illegal immigrants (fractious negative argument presented by those who do not think). The more you spend the more you pay, so fully egalitarian.

Other things that disturbs me... Why are the FED agencies not moving against the unholy symbiotic relationship between chemical company, doctors, pharmacist and hospitals? Why are they not forcing insurances company to cough back a fixed percentage of their contract (like they do for gambling? - related to #10)

Bravo!
That this statement blissfully disregard the need to have a car in the US due to lack of common transportation in all rural areas and many small cities is not important.
'Bravo' indeed.
Besides the point.
Besides the point???? Meaning that being forced to have car because of the environment and then be forced to buy a car insurance is beside the point????

Wow!

Idiotic question (yes I typed idiotic)...
What is the role of a government, as described by the constitution... Isn't there a little blurb about 'pursuit of happiness'? Does not that apply to physical well-being as well as mental state?
Just another moronic question... (yes, I typed 'moron')

Ignoring that malefic question... (Yes, reference to evil)

In any case, it always about $$$ and wanting everything for free, on both sides. Just wait until one becomes really needy for any reason and realize... Oh! I am ruined! Then try to move to Canada...

Why do folks need to go to Canada in 'prescription trips'? How can a line drawn on the sand (Oh, yeah, allusion to the desert hence Arabs....) makes that much a difference when the manufacturer is the same?

Man... Attack the form but ignore the content. Typical.
Yes I typed 'sons of bitches'. Had I typed SOB you would not even have reacted. Sorry but your intervention is specious, at best. As to my mom, she is dead. I never really knew her and frankly, I am not sure what she was.

Look at my avatar...  :D :D :D

Now I am being called for using a common term. 'Son of a gun' is positive and I do not know why, either way, you put way too much weight into what is an expression and totally off topic.

Something interesting is coming out of this thread (I read everything up to page 5).

There is a pattern here that is similar to UHH division over the application of rules. There those who think that they can do whatever anywhere at no cost and there those who thinks rules are needed.

My opinion is rules are needed and must be not only established but enforced, not because someone wants power but because as a specie humanity is an utter failure. As individuals we are also failures as we all think 'me, me, me'.

Our trouble reside here: "We are all sons of bitches who refuse to look anywhere but personal interest".

What difference does this make? If you are asking which to use forget the iCRAP

* This is the lens that replicates human vision. It also implies that you may/will need to shoot as a panorama. More details but slight distortion.
