S5 user for last 3 years and if it was not for the decline in performance I would not get a new smartphone.
I love looking at the exit data on the phone as it seems to be pretty savey.
Dslr cameras are better but you need to go through the pp routine to realize the difference.
Smartphones have such good algarythms that they do a lot with less.
It never occurs to most people who buy a car to take driving lessons because most people don't even want to do any serous driving. +you would then need to spend a fortune on tires.
The moon can be tough. Great suggestion taking two photos and combining them.
I use canon dslr and I need at least a 3 stop underexposure to get any detail on the moon.
If it is during daylight I can use normal exposure.
I think the Sony might make the adjustment for you but you have picked a stout test.
Perhaps take a picture of the ocean during the day and pp it in with your moon.
Canon t2i through t6i are all very similar.
The Ti series is more camera than the T series.
Confusing how the little I makes so much difference.
The t7i is a bigger upgrade. If your serious get this one otherwise get a used ti2-ti6 and save some money.
I use the t2i and whIle a little dated does everything well. Great backup camera.
I find the spurious information forces me to think critically about a given discussion.
If your looking for formal gidence then your time would be better spent with the many wonderful books and youtube videos available.
But you need to mix it up with real people. This will strengthen your ideas. Most people have one goal in their dialog. Convince everyone that they are the gatekeeper of all knowlege worth knowing.
For all the nonsense there is not one day that goes by that I don't learn at least one thing.
Post some pictures and ask some questions and at least one person will make it worth your while.
I use the cheap ones about $25 a set. Initial results are great but they fade very fast.
I think I will try the refill kit above.
A continuous ink supply is available but looks like a headache.
I saw the one in Chicago and these facilities are why we have clean water.
One of if not the most important piece of infastructure in modern society.
A caption is always good for stuff like this.
Great idea and execution.
If you are ever in Chicago give me a buzz.

I think this is the most practice if you don't want to babysit the camera. Perhaps go up to 20-25 seconds to get multiple lighting bolts.
Video is good too.
I would not mind a lightning trigger but unless your into it I doubt that piece of gear will see much action
I a suprised that so many people say you don't need an ultra wide angle lense. 24 mm is not wide enough for me. Especially in churches and in the narrow confines of these old cities.
Taking pictures of buildings is also much easier with an ultra wide.
If you don't have a lense wide or wider than your cell phone I think you are missing some of best parts of photography.
Especially with that 5dmk3.
Bring all your stuff insure it. Do some time lapses out your window. Bring a compact camera when you dont want to look like a complete tourist. Go nuts
Have a great trip
You have to hang in there for all 70
So worth it.
Never heard of this but I'm guessing it is a halfway effort to HDR?
Probably it is like hdr where some results are a little better and give you some added control in post. Most don't matter and every now and then it's awesome.
Frame that last one with a old reclaimed barn wood frame and you have a classic on your hands.
Know a few horse people and I think they would all like that one
Nice set
Since it is sorted by year delegate a decade to each member of your team.
Get a pic count for each year and go from there.
Probably most of the pics were from the last 50 years. So start with the 1st 150 years and choose best 5 pics for each year
If you do 3 second you have 20 pics a min or 1200 pics an hour
If you do 5 seconds you have 12 pics a min or 720 pics in an hour
Consider creating several slides shows and combining.
Cinematic
Save this one for Halloween cards.
I never use any usb connectors. Dl is way faster taking the cf card out and putting it in a card reader.
Just make a commitment to burn that shutter count before your camera dies.
An series of astro-time lapse would be just the thing.
Love the images it makes.
