Hello hoggers.
On a photo shoot last weekend I was playing around with the creative mode on my Lumix FZ1000. I shoot in RAW and when I downloaded the pictures, the creative mode flashed on the screen briefly but then reverted to the RAW file. I had this happen once before when shooting creative mode on my Lumix ZS40. Before sending the question to UHH on that occasion I read a response to another posting that solved the problem: changing the preferences in LR to show JPEG files beside the original RAW file. It worked. I assumed when shooting in creative mode on the FZ1000 that the shots would also be in JPEG and would show beside the RAW files. I checked the preferences on LR and it still has the checkbox marked for showing both files. Any suggestions as to why the creative mode shots are not showing up? It doesn't do much good to try creative mode settings if I can't view them! Thanks in advance for your help.
Wonderful shots of beautiful animals.

What are your thoughts on using this camera instead of a camera whereto have to switch out lenses?
I bought one used from KEH about five months ago and absolutely love this camera. Still learning its multiple capabilities.
I love taking pictures of old abandoned buildings or, as we have nicknamed them, dozers. Nice set.
I had the FitBit Zip and it worked fine except that the battery life kept diminishing until I was having to replace every two weeks. Got to be more expensive than it was worth. If you go to their website for support, you are able to do an online chat. I followed all their instructions for testing the battery and settings but still had the same problem. Since I was beyond the warranty period they offered me 25% off another FitBit product. I declined and purchased an old fashioned pedometer instead - cheaper and does what I need. Fortunately I had purchased my FitBit at REI and, after I explained the problem, they gave me a full refund. Incidentally, both of my sisters-in-law purchased the same product and are having battery issues as well. They advertise battery life as 5-6 months. I am not a FitBit fan.
Great way to end the day!

The Buffalo Bill Center in Cody is outstanding. I highly recommend it.
I second that. Also, I recall an excellent and generously portioned meal at Bubba's.
Nice! I had a similar somber experience visiting the American cemetery in Cambridge, England. Very moving.
What a cutie! Enjoy. Our 9 year old female is Miss Bitsy Ross, Bitsy for short.
We have a nine year old Boston Terrier. They are great dogs. Have fun. (Notice my avatar).
Where were these taken? Nice series.

Quite a difference in locales. I love Washington State.
It is truly beautiful and there is much I miss. Every area has its own particular beauty and I'm enjoying the high desert sunshine. The last few years in Seattle I was suffering from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) so my mood and state of mind has much improved.
Makes me homesick. We lived in the Seattle area for 32 years before retiring to Albuquerque.
Thanks for sharing. Love ghost towns!
