I recently mailed out 60 packages through the Post Office all the packages got to their intended locations more than timely, Friendly Professional Service, cost me $5 a package, UPS/FedEx wanted $15 a package....The Post Office is one of our Largest Employers of Veterans,,,God Bless the United States Postal Service...
I have a Necky Manitou 14 foot Sea Kayak, for what You want to do the Wilderness Systems Pungo 12 would probably work well, I also have an Old Town Solo Sportsman single person Canoe, both boats weigh about 55 pounds...Not bad since You have a Trailer but heavy to carry if You have to Portage any distance...Getting Outdoors is Great, and Kayaking and Canoeing are a lot of Fun....Wear that PFD, Life Jacket !!!
Dad, WWII, Cruiser U.S.S. Savannah, Invasion of Salerno, German Dive Bomber came in out of the Sun, Radio Controlled Bomb, in a Heartbeat 197 Men of an 800 Man Crew were Dead...
Me, University of Viet Nam,,,,Paratroopers....Purple Heart Fraternity......
Wife and I bought Trek double or triple butted Steel Framed 750 Bicycles 20 years ago, only modification narrower smooth tires and drop bars, have put thousands of miles on those Bikes and they are still going strong....I still think you can get a good entry level Bicycle with low end but good components for around five or six hundred....A Thousand or more will buy You a very good Bicycle with Shimano or Campy Components or Drive Train...I have a Titanium with Carbon Fiber Forks Bicycle that I bought for a little over a Grand 20 years ago and it is still going strong....Would Recommend always start with a Good Bicycle Shop, get fitted for a Bike, try out different models, shop around different Bike Stores, but buy from a Bike Store with Quality Bicycles and Experienced Personnel....
What a Story of Courage and Compassion....I have never had a Leica Camera but Love their Binoculars....
I see going for a Walk, Run or Bike Ride with Others is only a Level 2, What I have seen since this Pandemic started as I Love the Outdoors,,,,The Good News is More People than Ever Before are Enjoying the Outdoors,,,,The Bad News is More People than Ever Before are Enjoying the Outdoors !

Thanks PH CIB - I am happy to hear that you love BC, it's a big, wild province the more north you get. I remember driving on quite a few of these gravel stretches in the '60s, but I can't remember what Highway Number 37 was. Have a great day!
Highway 37 from Kitwanga to Watson Lake,,,it was all gravel back in the mid eighties and the bridges were single lane a steel beam on each side with planks across to both steel beams...been ten or more years since the Wife and I drove Highway 16 to Prince Rupert to take BC Ferry Boats to Petersburg, Alaska and when we stopped for gas at Kitwanga or Hazelton they said half of 37 was paved now....Left the Car in Prince Rupert....Love BC Ferries had a small cabin, Folks camped out on the Fantail, Wonderful Scenery and Rangers and Native Presentations...I don't know if they still go to Petersburg, Alaska anymore...
Love BC, been years since I drove the ALCAN and old Highway Number 37 it was all Gravel back then....
So Beautiful and Peaceful and Calm, makes me want to get out the Canoe or Kayak !!!
