To the OP,

Yes, likely your camera had been delayed by the backup in Asia-to-America shipping. the “normal” is about 4 weeks to the west coast and additional 2 weeks east. right now, add 4 weeks to that. the average wait to unload a container ship is now 4 weeks. Normally 0-1. I monitor this every week for my business.

To all

This is not going to get better soon. so, for anyone who is not yet starting to by gifts for Christmas, the advise to to buy now when you find it in stock.

Given your first shot showing where you were having to shoot from, I think these are really good. Good eye for the timing of the catches and tackles.

Hard to shoot from way back beyond a track at the far end zone. Given the “dark and stormy night” (sorry-can’t resist) - I think you settings are about as good as you can, the results showing up in the shoots.

While it would be great to let the action come to you at the near end zone, sometimes you have to shoot what you are given. Happens to me a lot in XC where the light is often not what I want or where I want it. Given that you were about 100 yards away from some of this action, these are good.

As for Cropping, not bad. If I had a suggestion on the above, it would be to, on the shots that have it, crop more of the foreground green turf from the pictures. It is a bit distracting and does not add to the shot.

#2, 4, and 5 are my favorites of this set.

Hi. Writing this as I watch the sunrise from Meredith on Lake Winnipesaukee, and was just in Manchester on Saturday.

Location suggestions above are good. The west side of Manchester (old mill/factory district) should have some nice spots. Concord, about 30 minutes North, is a very pretty town. Suggestions above and Google will be your friends here.

I you want to come further North, Lake Winnipesaukee area is a nice suggestion. depending on where you go from Manchester, will be 45-75 minutes. The M/V Mt. Washington cruise is indeed still running, and a nice view of the lake that you can’t get from shore. Gunstock ski area, if you want easy access Mountain Views via chairlift, would be good as well. Castle-in-the-clouds should be very pretty this time of year (Ossipee).

I would like to note that there are no Fall colors in Manchester, and very little even up here in the Lakes Region area. About 2 weeks early. If you are looking for color, you need to go a bit further North, or gain some elevation, or both.

If you want dining suggestions, it would be the Common Man “group” of restaurants up and down Rt 93. All are good, and the diner’s are fun, but I like the one in Plymouth the best. If you are in Laconia, O’s Steak and Seafood in Lakeport is wonderful.

Have fun

Really nice shots Tom. You don’t see that angle from a center very often!!

I am not a football player/fan, but is #3 a penalty? I thought you could not hit below the waist like this.

These really pop. Given that you had to go to ISO8000, it must have been really dark. Good job

Hi. I don’t have this issue when I do it. I don’t download automatically. After denying that prompt, my iphone pops up as a drive in windows explorer. Once I give it permissions, I can navigate to the folder with the pics, and then drag the ones I want to my folders memory. Works really well for the limited pics I need at work.

Nice shots. Agree with with the level field. All your shots are clockwise relative to straight. With the grid up, will help to give you a both a horizontal and vertical reference to help and minimize what you need to crop in post.

3rd shot is your best. Nice and tight on the players.

Keep shooting

First effort? Wonderful. I agree with Tom that you should be posting frequently with shots like these.

#4 is a nice “Heisman” moment
