I've been using Affinity for over a year. A great package with Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, and Affinity Publisher (even better with the current prices). You can also run the NIK collection in Affinity Photo
There are classes in UDEMY on Affinity if you need a good start.
That was my point. It is an SLR! Just a joke. Apparently you are the only on that caught on.
My entry was a fun entry. I consider myself an armature in photography though I have used a number of cameras from a Brownie, Canon R-2000, 4X5 Speed Graphic, Super D Graflex, and now a Canon EOS 7D, yes I know it is a cropped sensor!! I've done a modest amount of my own darkroom work in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it. I take pictures because I like to. If you have a problem with this it is your problem and not mine. Looking over the pictures in the Ugly Hedgehog my entries are better than many and certainly not as good as many. I don't claim to be a professional.
Chemicals are a mess these days and digitalis SOOOOO much easier!!
Hello!!!! is this not a CAMERA????
Some of my best photos were taken with this.
2 1/4X 3 1/4
A true gem.
Even has an auto iris.
I'm not saying I have taken a lot of excellent photos, but this is a great camera and fun to use.
I did not. The kids and grand kids did.
I did not, the kids and grand kids did.
I got to go up to Bandelier National Monument today. Thought you might enjoy a few pictures.
These were taken with a Canon EOS 7D and a Tamron 16-300 lens.
I realize the Tamron 16-300 is not the best lens but it is great to cover almost any scene I might want.
Any comments on exposure or composition will be appreciated.
They were taken in Raw and processed in Affinity.
I initially cropped the photo but I lost his tail unless he was far to the Left. Thus the final crop, unless I use a very narrow format.
This little fellow was eating Hollyhock flowers in my back yard
Thanks for the response all. I did do some slight corrections in Affinity. White and black levels, slight contrast correction and slight sharpening.
I just thought folks would enjoyu thei photo taken in Orange Street Alley in Redlands, Calif.
Great shot.
Caddo lake was created when the great log jam blocked the Red river and the river backed up. When Capt. Shreve (Shreveport was named after him) cleared the log jam, caddo lake drained. A dam was built to re-create the lake, so I have been told. Apparently, there was some of the lake left after the draining.
I started using it today!!! I got so frustrated with setting up a scene and focusing where I wanted to and then pressing the shutter button only to have the focus change.
