Thanks Waldron7 and yes Swizzle, NEPA does stand for North East PA. However, I put it that way to indicate the North ast corner of the state only to find out that there is a town called Northeast in PA. Ironically that town is the North West part of the state. Go figure.
Father Morris, having ben recently assigned to his first parish, decided it a good idea to visit the members of his new church, especially the homebound. As he made his way through the streets he came to the home of Mrs. Jackson, an elderly widow. He introduced himself and she invited him in to chat a while. She offered to make some tea, and after some denial he finally agreed saying Well if its no trouble"
"No trouble at all," she replied. "just make yourself comfortable in the parlor while I get the tea."
As he waited he noticed a bowl of nuts on the table and gave into the temptation to try a few. Before he knew it he had eaten almost all the nuts.
When Mrs. Jackson returned with the tea he stood to apologize.
"Sorry Mrs. Jackson, but those nuts were so delicious I couldn't help but eat most of them."
"Don't worry yourself none young man," she replied, "Since I've lost my teeth I can only suck the chocholate off them anyway."
