Some folks are collectors. I only have a couple. I am not a hunter. I just like to shoot beer cans off a fence post, and make a little noise. I don't think I could shoot Bambi, but the deer are overpopulated around here. They wreck cars and provide sport for the real hunters.

Because he likes them and they all do different jobs...just like camera's and lenses... :)

Yes, some are for outdoor shooting, some for indoor, and he has a sawed off shotgun for 'fisheye' shooting.

the gun storage is no longer safe as anyone who has ever been in the house or recognizes his voice knows about his neat cabinet making.
Wonderful craftsmanship.
For some collecting firearms is just a hobby. Currently most firearms are appreciating in value.
