The misspelling of words is something that grates on my nerves too. I see really inspirational messages posted on FB with a misspelled word. Kind of lessens the proposed life lesson. Guess I should learn to “like” the message and figuratively shoot the messenger.
Really good photos. B/W looks appropriate. Not usually my thing. How old is the mill?
The Glade Creek Grist Mill at Babcock is a new mill that was completed in 1976. Of special interest, the mill was created by combining parts and pieces from three mills which once dotted the state. The basic structure of the mill came from the Stoney Creek Grist Mill which dates back to 1890. After an accidental fire destroyed the Spring Run Grist Mill near Petersburg, Grant County, only the overshot water wheel could be salvaged. Other parts for the mill came from the Onego Grist Mill near Seneca Rocks in Pendleton County.
Had to laugh at my sister. We visited the restroom with my granddaughter. My sister ensured my granddaughter washed her hands, used a towel to turn off the faucet and a towel to open the door. Than let her put her hands all over the elevator buttons.
It makes me sad when you have to put up signs in the bathrooms for employees to remind them to wash their hands. It should be as automatic as breathing.
Do your own thing--it doesn’t matter what others do.
Whenever I ask a question, it always stimulates a strong discussion on both sides of the issue. I guess it proves, in this case, you have the most correct answer (if there is such a thing). The path doesn’t matter. The end result does.
A lot of suggestions are made to check your LCD screen before actually taking the picture. I’m outdoors a lot and find that I can’t see the screen due to the glare. Any suggestions?
