I used coffeeshop action and a few fractals to demonstrate what can be done with it. This is only the second time that I have used this action.

Coffeeshop enchanted forest action.

Check this out and see if it helps. They have some great actions and they are free.

Hi! Last weekend I took pictures of this little girl in her Halloween costume with their family horse. I could edit out the yellow rope out of the original picture but it still seemed like it was missing something. I tried to add some sun rays but just not to thrilled about it. Would anyone have any other suggestions I could do with this picture to make it stand out more? Thanks everyone!!

I used CS6 and Topaz Restyle to get this profusion of colors.

Thanks RoadKing, you generated more oomph out of that sunset than I got. I have Topaz Adjust so I'll check out what it might do for this one. What program did you straighten it in?

I used Smart Photo Editor for the straightening and most of the other changes as well.

Hi minniev; I love this photo, great composition and the possibilities are endless. I did crop it to a 3:2 ratio to get a little better view of the lighthouse. I also adjusted sharpness and saturation individually for water, trees, and lighthouse. The lighthouse was leveled as well as the horizon. The final touch was to use Topaz Adjust to add a setting sun effect. This worked pretty good, but lighten the color of the lighthouse.

Roadking...I love what you did for this picture. Just curious, why did you flip the image?

I felt it fit better with the desert background that I used. I guess it would have been as easy to flip the background, but that is the way saw a better composition.

My rendition, I used mixed media but mostly pencil drawing.

Hi MaggieMay1978; Beautiful baby. There are several methods for adjusting skin colors as you can see. The one I use most of the time is described on this web page: http://www.graphicconnectionkc.com/skin-tone-correction.html
Number 1 was adjusted using light skin numbers and number 2 was adjusted using normal skin numbers.

Sorry if it appears that way here, it doesn't on my monitor.

Hi Linda; I love your photo, good composition. I was able to replace the sky. I choose a blue sky with a few clouds.

Beautiful deer, it is a sham that nature has a way to hide all of its critters.

I cropped the photo to give the deer more presents. I also used topaz restyle to shift the colors so the deer would be more noticeable. The last step was to mask the deer and foreground so I could blur the background. This all helps with making him more visible. There are probably hundreds of ways to do it better, but this is the way I processed it with the knowledge I have now.
