I had a heck of a time and want to quit (for now). Interested in trying? It's already cropped, but you can trim closer if it suits you :)
I could also upload a version of the raw file, if you'd like. Let me know what is best.
Thanks so much!
Hi Linda; I love your photo, good composition. I was able to replace the sky. I choose a blue sky with a few clouds.

Roadking ..... it looks like you chose a blue (cyan?) baby owl too.
I see someone has come through with a good looking sky for you. My sky replacement skills are terrible..... my attempt failed, so I'm not posting it.

Sorry if it appears that way here, it doesn't on my monitor.

I looked closer, I see what you mean.

Thank you so much for your efforts! I think it'll be much less challenging bringing baby back to white than to do the original sky replace. Thanks again!

Not that much fun, is it - lol - especially with all those darned branches. I do appreciate that you tried, HT!
roadking11, here is what I was able to achieve after you did the tough stuff :)
Thanks again!

He respects Owl, because you can't help respecting anybody who can spell TUESDAY, even if he doesn't spell it right." A.A. Milne (creator of Winnie-The-Pooh)
I have always loved this insightful quote by Milne about the wise old owl. . .
Here are three different renderings of your wonderful, yet difficult, owl image. I found the materials used for the nest to be most interesting, especially the string. . .which was a bit of a challenge.
Comments, questions and/or rotten eggs, soft tomatoes and heads of cabbage are always welcome.

Very beautiful and unique works of art, Ken. Thank you so much for all your efforts!
Again using roadking's sky, buzsim treatment!
I think Mooseyes caught the best crop to highlight the main subjects. That being said, I much prefer a photorealistic sky.

Looks great Linda, great photo, this would be very hard for me to find where I live.
Here is another try for you Linda. Not any better than roadkings just a different sky.
