This is the time of year to buy thumb drives. It's back to school season and everyone has a sale. You should let the family know that your expenses have gone up to cover the cost of the thumb drives and ask for a few dollars. Or, pic a person in each branch of the family. Send that person a jump drive and ask them to share with the rest of their family members. They can download to their choice of storage devise.
Good luck

You have a pile of photo subjects! Try different places to stage the keys and shoot away. Challenge yourself to see how many different ways you can take pic of a pile of keys.
Good luck

You don't "negotiate" the tax deduction. The group receiving the item(s) simply gives you a list of the items that they have received. That is the proof that you did in fact donate the items. You then claim what you believe is the value of the items. You are the one that sets the value.

I like simple and easy. The 15-85, the 70-200, the flash if it’s not too big, and a monopod. Are you on vacation, or on a photo shoot? You can easily get bogged down with equipment and it’s easy to forget to enjoy yourself trying to play photographer.

I always carry my camera over my shoulder and thus it has to go into a bin to go through the inspection. Never any trouble. Items that you don't need, like small monopod or tripod can go in check through if they fit the suitcase. If they don't fit, leave them home. Only problem with TSA and cameras is the one time that an extra camera was in my check through. The lens was damaged and never worked properly because some stupid (and most really are stupid) TSA agent took the camera out of the suitcase, got the lens off, and then couldn't properly mount the lens. The agent some how got it jammed onto the body and the lens never worked properly again. My carry on is a lap top, and a camera bag with the camera over my shoulder. Bag, camera, and lap top go into separate bins to go through inspection with no problems. Have a great trip.

If she is jumping with another person, get a go pro for that person to wear so your wife can be filmed at her "level" on the way down. Good luck to both of you.

Just contact the hired pro and ask if he would allow pocket cameras at the reception. Follow what he says. Otherwise, just leave the camera at home and enjoy the wedding and the reception.

20 years ago people bought cameras to take photographs. Most were more than casual shooters. Today most people with a phone that takes pictures think it is a camera, and of themselves as some kind of photographers. The pic for the most part, stay on the SD card and when it's full they get another card. Just not the same.

Many moons ago I dropped a nice 10' putt, only to have the ball pop out of the cup! Turns out that there was a frog in the cup.Not big enough to make it out in one hop, but big enough to pop the ball out of the hole after it landed on him and he jumped. I picked him out of the cup and sent him on his way.

KT Johnson is right. The plate is a 1956, not a vanity plate.

Great shot. Wow! Look at those nails. They will reek havoc with the finish on a keyboard. ; )

Used to be a "vintage-antique" camera store an hour south of me that had a lot of view cameras and photographic oddities. His definitions were: Antique=100 years or older. Vintage=pre-WW2. Collector=certain makes and models that were used, and still saleable. Classic=a descriptive term used to make a camera more saleable. It was always worth a side trip when in the area just to visit the shop.

A warning a bout "fire proof" safes. Check to see what temps they are tested to, and for how long. A residential house fire will reach 1800 degrees or hotter. Paper burns at 451 degrees, and plastics will melt. Most safes are only rated for 20-30 minutes. In that time the contents will be destroyed or damaged beyond repair. Firearms will loose their heat treat and will be useless after a fire. Just a word of caution.

The US got into the European war only because Germany declared war on the US. Otherwise we would have fought Japan and the other countries would have fought Germany. As said above, it was the some of all the Ally parts that won the war.
