1956 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
Another great car capture, KT!
That is a great photo of a great car!
Whoa!!!!! Great shots KTJohnson, of a splendid car. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful car and well captured, Ken.
The '56 and '57 Vettes were always some of my favorites to look at, but not necessarily to drive. The one in your photos is a beautiful example, much nicer than the one I bought in 1970 for $750 from a body shop shortly after it was painted, then stolen and partially sprayed over with rattle can primer . A year later I had inserted a 350hp 350ci engine and Muncie 4spd in it, rebuilt the suspension, obtained a hardtop, and had a custom $150 paint job applied to it. Two years later, sold it for a down payment on our first house!
Nice photos of a beauty! I love that fiery orange! What is the actual name of that color?
Stan
Nice car and photos but according to the licence plate in the fourth picture it looks like it is a 1987 Corvette.

Could very well have been restomoded and is now running C-4 suspension and power. If so, that would explain the vanity plate.

Not actually my car, so I don't know the name of the color.

The year of the car is 1956 and if you look close at the top of the Michigan license plate it says 1956. The number of the plate is MM1987. I don't know what kind (if any) updates the owner has made.
