Excellent! I’d frame and hang that. The only difficulty would be deciding on which image to use.

Thak you for your kind words.

This is my favorite lighthouse to photograph. I visited in June and there were absolutely no clouds. I booked another trip this past week hoping there would be some, and fortunately there were. This place is awe inspiring to me and not to be gruesome, but it will be my final resting place.

I was so lucky to have calm winds and catch a good reflection. I have watched many locals catch fish, crabs and shrimp throwing their cast nets off the end of the piers while waiting for the sunsets.

We stayed in West Yellowstone, MT and entered the park each day through the west gate. Our entrance route took us along the Madison River. This first day we drove past Madison toward Norris on the way toward Canyon Village.

This set shows shots along the river and Gibbon Falls.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Beautiful set. Well done!

I haven't had much time to go out and shoot lately. I had planed to go out this weekend but with a little over 12 inches of rain yesterday it didn't look good for photography. Got a little break this afternoon and went to the local state park. Had the opportunity to make a couple of pictures and then got drenched when the rain came back in. Of course I was about a mile and a half from the car when that happened. Oh well, it is what it is. Enjoy

The iconic shot for those who have been there. Such a beautiful place in the Finger Lakes area of NY.

Taken in Piscataway, NJ this past week. The sky was a mix of blue hour clouds and early sunrise light.

Today's post is a whoops. When you travel with three cameras and four lenses plus a memory card runs out of space, mistakes are made. As I went to post my wrap up shots for the trip, I discovered a set of shots from our first day arrival in Juneau when the tour took us to Freedom Bridge Park to see the Mendenhall Glacier on the way to the ship.

This belated set shows shows the views of the glacier from different positions in the park. Included are shots of flowering raspberry and fireweed.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

We left Wrangell behind and cruised past the edges of the Tongass National Forest toward the Misty Fjord National Park. On the way the clouds gave us a few breaks for lighted landscape shots. Also, we tracked a pair of orcas. Orcas are not increasing at the pace naturalists would prefer. We did not learn (from the fin pattern) whether these were residents or transients, but they were pursing Dolls dolphins.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

I love these. Well done.
