Is it wise for Amazon to so proudly display their logo on shipping containers, seemingly making them an easy target for freight hi-jackers? Trains are being hit hard during the current wave of retail and commercial crime.

Lately I have noticed a distinct drop-off to receiving virtually no junk mail on weekends and holidays. But today, Monday, the spam folder has been filling up with casino offers, male enhancement product ads, car warranties and even a phishing attempt from "At your earlier convenience kindly acknowledge a Termination Mail Case ID: SSA-96144386
Kind regards
Social Security Administrator
Baltimore-USA" (Sent from some clown with a Gmail address.)

Maybe the junk email chop shops are working 4-day weeks and have a staffing shortage, but they are still cranking them out.

Ooma doesn't seem to offer different rings to indicate who is calling, though.

Go to: https://my.ooma.com/ and login to your account.

On the banner across the top of the page, click on "PREFERENCES" (Gear Icon)

On the vertical menu at the left, click on "PHONE NUMBERS"

Under the orange PHONE NUMBERS title, you will see your phone number(s) listed below

Click on the "GEAR ICON" in the field containing your phone number and then click on "EDIT NUMBER" when the popup menu is showing.

You will get a popup menu "MANAGE PHONE NUMBER". Click on the box next to "RING PATTERN" and select your choice from the drop-down menu.

Repeat if necessary if you have a second Ooma phone number below your main number.

This probably does not solve your exact issue but it gives you a few options. This sets the ringing pattern only sent from the Ooma device.

The ring "tone" itself is dependant on what your phone device offers for selections and if it includes the ability to customize and coordinate incoming caller ID with your contacts stored on that device. My dated Panasonic cordless system has a lot of features, but it does not provide the ability to individualize ringtones by contacts. Finding and replacing my home phone device is at submarine level on my priority list until it dies.

Hopefully, this will assist you.

[quote=stogieboy]This comes along a couple times a year at B&H, but today, they have the 2023 version of Photoshop & Premier Elements (download or box) on sale for $89.99 (regularly $149.99).

I know hindsight is 20/20 but I bought the same item from B&H on 30 Jan 2023, for $64.99. At another time of year, one might save $25. Or it might be increased to $99.99. Just adding some additional information for a potential buyer's consumption.

Well, I guess we know what's going to happen.

From viewing the course that the comments are heading, the most likely thing to happen will be this thread getting relocated to the Attic.

I sold those xray glasses in my store and in the back of catalogs. The orders all came with a letter explaining how they wanted to be a DR or, learn anatomy. Non ever said they just wanted to see girls naked.... I should have kept those letters, some were great !

I have utilized an "OTG" cable with success in my Mercedes-Benz GLE. It has the "C" plug on one end of the cable that goes into the car USB C port and the other end of the cable is a standard USB "A" female plug into which the thumb drive is inserted. Some USB ports are power only and do not "talk to" the InfoTainment systems for streaming, etc. The "OTG" cable is very short, about 4 to 6 inches long.

Mine is connected to a wired switch downstream from my modem. Absolutely no issues encountered.

A week or so after this photo was taken I found out she was a senior in high school. I certainly don't remember the girls in my high school looking like this.

In today's volatile social climate, taking these sort of photos involving "high school seniors" could land one in "a heap of trouble". Hopefully she was retained a year or so and had exceeded being classified as a minor when she achieved Senior status. If not, most likely the statute of limitations has expired.

The girls in my high school looked just like this only in my vivid adolescent imagination. LOL. Side note: Those "X-Ray" glasses ordered from the back pages of Comic Books back then that were purported to enable one to view beyond clothing didn't work. (A friend told me )

I have had Ooma for more than 7 years. I also have the Premier service and I have only the "basic" Ooma Telo "box".
I don't believe there was a Premier "box" offered at the time I started with Ooma. Maybe the Premier box has an extra line jack on the box for making a physical connection of two separate phones, one for each line. I have not yet investigated the differences between the two "boxes".

We use the second number for a FAX line as well as some calls. My wife has a home-based online store as a side gig and it works out well for us.

My charges for the Premier service are billed and paid annually rather than monthly. My recurring monthly charge for taxes and fees only is $7.29 at my location.

If I remember correctly, at the time I ported my old number, it took just a couple of hours for the number to migrate to Ooma. Your situation may vary of course.

How about a "Human Access Hole"? It could be shortened to "HassHole".

I didn't see anything like that until I moved to Texas. I have noticed that it is a Hispanic thing. I have one across the small road from me. A fourteen year old was buzzed up with something and stole the family car, picked up a bunch of friends and went for a ride. The cops say he was going well over seventy miles an hour when he lost control and hit a fence that the circus put up. He was killed instantly. The others were severely injured, one is a quadraphonic. It is over two year old and is well taken care of. It has a large picture of the boy.
I talked to a person that was caring for it. She turned out to be the boy's mother, she said she does it to keep his memory fresh in her mind.
I didn't see anything like that until I moved to T... (show quote)

FYI: quad·ra·phon·ic

(of sound reproduction) transmitted through four channels.

Yes, the "entertainment" was awful this year. To continue the trend, maybe next year the NFL should have Patrick Mahomes little brother as the headliner.
