Another quirk I hope gets corrected is the body of a post shows up under the avatar so you wind up with all this empty space to the right of the avatar.

Also Lightroom is, in essence, standalone ACR. Downloading the latest version of ACR will not update Lightroom, you have to purchase the latest version of Lightroom (version 6) in order for it to support the newest camera raw files.


Adobe Camera Raw is not the same thing as the Adobe DNG Converter. I assumed the OP had downloaded the DNG converter but maybe the OP downloaded ACR instead.

I agree that it's way too much wasted space on computer displays. It looks okay on my iPhone 6 Plus. While viewing on my iPhone, I had ads pop up and cover my whole screen even though I was logged in.

Are you trying to convert inside Lightroom? You have to use Adobe DNG Converter to create the DNG then import into Lightroom. If thats what you're trying to do, are you getting any error messages?

Canon Battery Packs
The LP-E6 battery works in the 5DII, 5DIII, 7D, 7DII. If Canon was "sticking it to us", each camera model would have a different battery

BlackRapid Strap safety
I replaced the Manfrotto screw with the FastenR Tripod (FR-T1). I haven't had any issues. I always make sure the plate is secure and the lock on the connector is secure.

I have the 60mm Canon which I use on my 7DII. It has the same FoV as the 100mm would on a FF camera.

Flickr Albums
Hover over 'You' in the top menu and click on Organize.
Drag the images from the filmstrip on the bottom to the workspace in the middle.
