Thank you tejas. You have posted some excellent western photos yourself.

Thanks for your response, ginbudjim. What I meant to write was what type of camera were you using, ie point and shoot or some other type. Sometimes it can be helpful to learn what others have done before running off in all directions.

All of those shots were taken with a point & shoot. Frankly I don't remember what they were other than Canon. I've been through 3-4 since then plus an SLR. If I get time tomorrow I will look up the photo data. Sorry :?

All done while riding? A coincidence, I'm off to take riding lessons (seriously!...part of my bucket list). What type of camaraderie were you using. (Turned 70 yesterday).

Yes, all done while riding David. Have ridden many many miles in NM, AZ, KS, UT, ID, MT, CO, and over 200 miles through the Canadian Rockies up near Banff and Jasper. I grew up on a horse and rode bareback mostly when I was a youngster. Coincidentally, I turned 70 on Saturday !
Not sure what you mean "type of camaraderie" ?

The western U.S. from New Mexico to Montana is my favorite area in the country. Here are a few shots from two of the many visits I have made to those states. I hope you enjoy.

Well, I made you look! Took these photos from my dock on Clam Bay. (FL) I had no tripod so I rested the camera on a pier post. Beautiful evening.

Whenever I think of October and November the first color that comes to mind is Orange. We see this color alot over these couple of months.

Would love to see what you all come up with. It can even be something from the archives as long as it has the color Orange in it.

Here are a few ideas I found on Viewbug.

Here are a few different shots of Orange in my collection. Fun challenge, thanks !

Thanks everyone. Yes he was quite the little cowboy. He loved the horses, trucks, and cows. Plus he could dance.

Love NM and all of your shots . . . . except the snake. Those things give me "shudder speed".

Really enjoyed this picture. Was it with Canon S95 by any chance?

No Sue, it was just an inexpensive S2IS only 5 megapixel. I loved the ergonomics of it but was just not enough MP as I began to get more serious with photography.

Neat scene. All the components go together well: your perspective collected everything nicely. Your retouch was well done.

Thank you Chuckster. Your comments are appreciated.

Thank you Carol. It just brings back some fun memories for me so I wanted to try touching it up some.
