Will be going to Las Vegas beginning of June for 4-5 days. Not sure which lens to take. I have the following and only want to take one of them: EF 24-70mm f/4L; EF 16-35mm f/4L; EF 50mm f/1.8, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L II. I was in Vegas about 6 years ago but didn't get a chance to take any photo's as we were busy with a wedding. Want to take street photos and general photography. Will also be visiting Zion NP. During my visit to Zion, would I be able to use my EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L lens?

I pay taxes every year. The big picture is my frustration at the way our taxes are used.We have
stripped the funds for public education and doubled down on more military toys. Not supported
the veterans that have bravely given service. Let the roads, infrastructure, bridges, water supply
first responders and fireman lacking support. Made students loan victims of lenders to try and get education.
Fought wars and military action not formally approved by congress which is the law.
And are stripping out healthcare from a large group of Americans.

Now before someone tells me this post does not belong here. Maybe we should not worry
about this and think about the t***h of taxes. Some do good most taxes are applied for the
betterment of a few people.

I am completely with you. I too pay my fair share of taxes and have done so all my life. My problem is with that they end up being used for the wrong things instead to what they were meant to be used for.

I like the wood ducks most.

I do too. Love the colors. When I was standing on the foot bridge above, I almost didn't see any of them.

Did the Papio Creek overflow? Being from Omaha originally, I bet it did.

Very nice series!

It did, but not as bad as the surrounding area's. Thank you for the compliment.

Was out with the camera today and ended up by Karen Western Elementary school near the Papio Creek in Omaha Ne. Looked down and saw these guys enjoying the day. Hope you enjoy! Ken

I want to thank everyone for their replies. I was trying to get a photo of a couple of hawks that live in the area and when I did, I noticed that this bird was very different looking. I didn't know that the turkey vulture was known to be in my area. Again thank you all for the info.

Can someone id this bird. Seen flying over Omaha Ne today. Bird was flying away from me and into the sun. Approx 3-400 yards away. Taken with canon 5d mk iv and EF 100-400 II lens. Tried to sharpen and bring out details the best I could. Thanks.

Will try and post this again. Went outside this morning and saw this guy hovering overhead. Don't know much about hawks, I think it is a red-tailed hawk. Can someone please identify for me? Thanks, Ken.

I have also had two subscriptions end with the "out of business" and get a mag that I don't want or need. I've asked for a refund in both cases and received it.
