As I recall, though it was a long time ago, when I was pumping gas it was .33 per gallon, and I believe I was making 65 cents per hour. In addition the customer got 10 S&H Green stamps for every Dollar Spent. Looks to me like the cost of fuel relative to wages hasn't changed that much. In fact it may be cheaper now.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. When you said that, I would reply regular or ethyl?
Thanks, I chased him around quite a bit to finally get a shot I wanted.
Saw him several times and never heard a peep out of him. I suspect he could have made quite a ruckus though.
Shot taken in Jamaica in early May
All are really great, but I love #4. Prey in sight and just before the pounce.
I know the area. I went to University of Tampa on the army bootstrap program in 1978.
Great shots. Reminds me of watching launches from Winter Park in the late 50's.
Can't decide if I like 2 or 3 best. They are all great shots.
Looks to me like the spot under the fountain is a drop of water and should be left alone. I like it as it is.
Indeed a "Special Moment" and a great photograph as well.
Great shot Phil.
I'm sure mom will cherish it.
