B & W is so much more dramatic (eg, water, bricks of the bridge, and small structures in the background) and the clouds.
I have owned Nikons (I have a Z60 now) and a Cannon. The best kit lens, that I have ever used, by far, is my Fuji 18 to 55 2.8 to 4.0 on my XT2.
I had the Nikon D610 for four years with no problems at all. The Nikon D750 is lighter then the D 610 and offers some features that the D610 does not.
I have an Induro CLT203 tripod. The Induro line of tripods are well made and you will save a money over the RRS tripod. The induro can use the RRS ball heads.

On a trip to Portugal and Spain last year I took my Fuji XT2 in a shoulder bag with two lenses. All this Fuji gear fit in an over the shoulder bag. This way I had great camera, security and convenience. I left the monopod at home.
I have both the 16 to 35 and the 20 F 1.8 G. Both lenses are very good especially the 20 F1.8 G
I tried Capture One software and was very disappointed. First, their tutorials are too fast and I had to replay these tutorials several times to get the information. Second, the software is not intuitive and is difficult to comprehend. Eventually I gave up and went to On1 and the sky opened. This software package is everything that Capture One is not. I am very happy with On1.
I use Bay Photo for my canvas 11 X 14 prints. They are expensive but are always running specials. Bay Photos quality is very good.
Has anyone ever used WhiteHall for canvas prints?
For landscape photography I use my Induro Stealth 203 which I have had for several years in all types of weather conditions. This Induro has held up extremely well and has many years to come. I also have the Induro head 330.
Check out F Stop Camara Bags. I have the Ajna camera bag with a large sloping ICU (Internal Camera Unit).
This 40 liter mountain bag is too large for most airlines. However, F Stop also makes the Lotus camera bag and at 32 liters it will satisfy both domestic and European requirement. The Lotus bag hold all your camera equipment with plenty of room for clothes and other things.
I have other camera bags but when hiking either overnight or a day hike the Anja bag is has proven to be the best bag that I have owned. Finally, most bags are heavy empty. F Stop bags are light empty and hold considerable gear and clothes.
On1 starts really fast and the tutorials are three times longer and you learn this intuitive software faster. I dropped One since the tutorials are not very good and too fast and start up was hit or miss.
I have been on this forum for about four years and everytime Abe's of Maine came up the members that knew them would warn, 'stay away'.
Over the years I have used Lightroom Photoshop, Capture One and On1. Very recently I tried Capture One and while I liked the software editing the tutorial are very subpare. I now use On1 since the software editing tools are robust and intuitive and the tutorials are the best especially considering Lightroom and Photoshop.
Online photo tools are only as good as your ability to learn most of the features and apply them. The education process, to use tools, is paramount to the photo editors use and your photos quality. On1 has been my photo editor for the past two years.
