#1, head & shoulders! really good.
silhouette one person with rod, will take up some beach space and add center of interest
that's a raven all right - the canyon country is filled with them. magnificent fliers. and a nice shot of the datura as well, also called jimson weed, quite poisonous in good sized doses.
look at the imaging resource site; they just did a 'super zoom" comparison with8 different models. results surprised my somewhat, but see for yourself.
I have a Nikon P7800, virtually new, bought from B&H 6 mo's ago that I am going to sell; haven't been able to get out much at all this summer, so probably haven't shot 100 pics with it. Seems like a very nice camera - research it at B&H among other places. I also have a step-up filter and a set of 3 52mm filters for it - unused. Let me know if interested. NBB
I just received an online quote from B&H for a near new Nikon 7800, and it wasn't what i wanted, so i just decided to keep the camera -- and probably forego the Pana 1000 i was considering trading it in on. Maybe some less expensive bridge camera. That being said, i have dealt with B&H for decades, including selling them used equipment, and have NEVER been dissatisfied with their prices, service and advice. Best price: sell it yourself; most convenient: sell to your regular equipment supplier.
I enjoyed it very much;lots of good info and very entertaining. Joel Sartore is a knowledgable and fun instructor. Geared more to dslr owners, but apropos for others too. But, as other have said, you can get a lot of info from so many sources. I think i paid about $59 for the dvd's.
definitely a kestrel - sparrow hawk , and a very nice shot it was.
Highly recommend Fundamentals of Photography from The Great Courses, with Nta Geo pro Joel Sartore; lots of info & fun too. On a set of 4 dad's.
i highly recommend "Fundamentals of Photography" from The Great Courses with pro Joel Sartore. Lots of info and lots of fun!
buy 52-62 & 58-62 step-up rings. some cp.'s are a bit thick and bait too large is better than a bit too small.
i've had my FZ200 for almost 2 yrs and like it very much, i'd had enjoyable experiences with a couple of the smaller Pana p&s's. also had sony dslr's. after i started using the FZ200 i found myself rarely getting out the bigger (and heavier!) dslr's. pics are good to very good for my purposes, close-ups to scenics. just ran off a couple hundred shots today of a granddaughter and some friends training for their hunter-jumping events -- at 5-12 fps! not bad. the photo on my id site here taken with FZ100 -- and published.
He murdered 2 innocents 25 years ago; justice or torture? lack of the first, and an over-ample amount of the second for the victims' families, in my opinion. He should have had his dose of "justice" 24 years ago. As a retired physician i know there isn't an anesthesiologist anywhere in the country that doesn't have available to them that will ( and on rare occasions do) kill a person in less than 10". Apparently prisons are not always allowed the same mix of drugs. A shame. 25 years in prison - a shame.
it might have worked well with the "one color" shot with the red barn chosen and the remainder in b&w
i have the panasonic 200, good range, both viewfinder & tilt/twist lcd (a must for me); and i have the nikon 7800, a bit smaller, decent range + viewfinder/tilt-twist lcd (and a larger sensor). both light, handy easy to use and with decent technique will produce very nic pics. nab
