When I did this search for the best hard drive a few months ago, Hitachi outranked them all by quite a margin. Things change?
I just went through this with a new DELL laptop. They couldn't help. Did a "hard" shutdown and wi-fi worked. I had to do it again yesterday. I talked to a DELL tech and he said "hard" shutdowns didn't hurt computers???

Just as important is the pilot. Does he know how to properly "sideslip"? I hired a pilot to circle inside the cone of Mt. St. Helens in 1985 and had to explain what I wanted. It allows taking photos out the side with forward motion without looking through a distorted windshield. When I lived in Alaska I took 3D and infrared photos of landscapes looking for old mining, cabin, and trail sites so I could go back on ground and explore the areas. It's hard to find infra red film any more but it opens up a whole new perspective.

They've also ruined Oh Henry and 5th Avenue which I no longer buy. They've also ruined several cereals like Corn Flakes, Wheat Chex and others. Ice cream has been reduced from the 1/2 gallon with no price reduction and canned goods sizes are smaller but the prices are not reduced. Kind of like our corrupt politicians, we aren't getting the performance we're paying dearly for.

When I moved in to my new digs all the light bulbs were missing so I bought all LED's and like them. Costco purchases. The 1st one burned out after 2 years----I'm holding my breath as it was one on a little used porch light and I live in a good climate.
