The Constitution is the supreme authority in my book. We should all follow it and NO ONE is above that law.

The evidence seems to point at this simple issue: the virus is tiny, but can hook a ride with your exhaled , moist breath. So now its bigger and maybe a simple mask will stop the penetration because of its increased size. So if you wear a mask, you can stop your breath from reaching the other person. And you really should do this, because you don't know for sure if you are carrying the virus. Don't ask! Wear a mask!

Political offices are populated by people who are voted into office by you the voter. If you think that politics are bad, then either support a trustworthy candidate and vote him or her into office.
This system of ours is a participatory democratic type which means that YOU have to vote if you want representation. And VOTE for someone that you trust. It is simple and incredible frustrating as we all know. But, our system is the best out there. Again, if you don't like the people in office, then find a better one or run for office yourself. But don't you dare complain and NOT vote.
Where I live, most people recognize the value of wearing a mask. However, some won't due to rebellion , and some through ignorance. In any case, they increase the risk of contagion.
