D500, Need help pulling the Trigger!!

I photograph a lot of birds. So continuous shooting is essential (they don't often cooperate by posing and standing still). A fast SD card helps a lot, but a larger buffer has always been desirable. More pictures per second is a great advantage, too.

D500, Need help pulling the Trigger!!
If I didn't have some other financial commitments right now, I'd jump at the chance to replace my D7100 (actually keep it as my backup). The small buffer on the D7100 drives me nuts, too. Best to you on your decision. I think you'd be very happy with the D500.

D7100 Buffer Stuck on "4"
Yes, the buffer on the (my) D7100 is crappy, faster cards help a lot. They are worth the expense, but the buffer is still way too small.

Check out the ones in the vacant lot next to the Ace Hardware, if you have the chance. They are very close to the sidewalk adjacent to a very busy street. Wonderful little birds! Again, great portrait.
