I totally disagree with you and felt that Durbin drew blood, he questioned Kavanaugh about the FBI investigation and Kavanaugh deflected, not answering the question. I believe if Kavanaugh would have gone into it saying he drank a lot and did a lot of things he knew to be wrong but has changed and gave up drinking, it would have been skimmed over. He showed a poor choice and took that route. As I said, we'll see if he serves out his term. He's shown himself to be very partisan, a bad thing for a justice. He may have to recuse himself from certain decisions involving Dems.
As usual, everyone Trump touches turns to crap.

Because a woman doesn't do what you think she should, she's a s**t? I watched the entire hearing also, I saw Kavanaugh and Graham playing for the cameras/Trump. Be proud of these spineless creatures, they had to hire a prosecutor to question Ms. Ford because they were afraid 11 white men would be insulting to a survivor of sexual abuse. They were afraid! The Dems handled it well, what's the big deal in questioning a woman? You use respect, something the R's don't understand. Ms. Mitchell couldn't even stand it, every question she pursued fell flat, she knew she was questioning a victim...you know, the woman you call, "the s**t". This perfectly shows how morally corrupt you and your party is and how out-of-touch with America you are.

Because we have one person unworthy of holding a SCOTUS seat, we shouldn't double down.
Kavanaugh put on a show for Trump, and Trump, loving melodrama as he does, loved it. These R's are burying themselves with their weakness and Trump is behind it using them like he has everyone in his life. Mrs. Ford is the sacrificial lamb here for Kav's ambition.
