A reason that is often given for why our environment is not warming more is that much of the increase in temperature is going into the oceans and lakes. Not only does this contribute to melting of ice at the poles (which adds water to the oceans), but as ocean water warms it expands. And of course an added complication is that there will be more evaporation from the warmer ocean water so more clouds and more rain.

There are a lot of complications. But I suspect more of the rising sea level is due to the expansion of warmer water than to the added quantity of water.

Amazon have once again played a dirty trick, I have just received this Email two days after the event:

I will not be using their option at any price because it is not that good for storage, in my case it does not keep upto date with my recent photographs at this moment in time it is 3 days behind.
