Costco's 4x6's are 17 cents apiece. If you are a member watch their coupons...then they are 13 cents. Or if you are printing over 100 they're 13. A good deal and you can do it right on the computer.

Thanks for all your help. I guess I stopped looking after the flowers bloomed. They were pretty spectacular. I did use my SB600 and just laid it on a bench ...loved what I got. Thanks again all.

Well, my first bloom opened tonight between 9:30 and 10:00. I tried some of your suggestions and was very pleased with the results. I used my remote flash and an led flashlight. I want to try light painting but that will wait for the next bloom...there are four more buds at different stages. Can someone tell me how to post a photo on the forum? I'll attach some tomorrow. Thanks again for all your help! I love this site!

I actually have a sb 600 speed light and never thought about using in off camera. I'm going to practice and give it a shot. Thanks for your suggestions. I post some pictures afterwards.

My night blooming cereus will blossom in about a week. I have photographed it for the past 2 year but no outstanding pictures resulted. It opens sometime between nine and midnight so I either have to have lights on or use a flash. Any ideas?

I wound uo getting the Pixstar with wifi. So easy to send entire albums from my computer. It has a remote...easy to erase a not- so- good shot or change albums etc.

I have that lens on my 7000 and it rarely comes off my camera. Best (most useful) lens I have!

Thanks all for your input. I want something to sit on an end table and found this: Pix-Star PXT510WR02 10.4 Inch FotoConnect XD Digital Picture Frame. I think this is what I'm going with. I wanted something bigger than the 8". At first I didn't thing I wanted wifi but talked to some people that have it and they love it. I'll let you know what I finally go with. Thanks again.
