GREAT NEWS!

A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. After three operations and treatment (and six months out from the last operation) I went in today for a checkup. As of now, I am cancer free. I had been dreading this appointment.

What a great way to start the New Year. Praise the Lord.

That is wonderful news!!

The first morning at the hotel in Monteverde I got out and took shots of some of the flowers (although the first four shots are growths from trees) in the area.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Lovely, mike! Thank you for making the day brighter!...

Took a wet stroll through our front woods looking for targets of opportunity. Typical rainy PNW day. 39F, moderate soaking rain made everything wet. Dark day, had to use my Z 70-200 f2.8.

Birds were seen moving through our front woods so I followed. It should be noted that the birds were Wet in these images. The rusty cast over the upper head and eye of the last Northern Flicker shot was caused by a nearby dead needle branch. Interesting effect I think.

Download and enjoy!

I love the female flicker shots tim...such a beauty! Great set!

I went to Tohono Chul in Tucson. It's such a lovely little park. Its name in Tohono O'odham means "desert corner," and that's exactly what it is. It's a small corner of two very busy roads that offers peaceful respite. Its plants are desert (translation: cactus). I hadn't been here in probably 30 years. It used to be free!

I have trouble typing after breaking my arm, but I'd love to receive your comments. I'll try to respond.

A very beautiful set, kathy! So glad you can post your shots even with a broken arm.

Just a fun set.

In Venice after we had lunch and we’re walking back to the car we saw the horses enjoying their lunch.

Another stop in Rotonda for coffee and this car caught our eye. A 1957 Buick, the owner has had it for seven years and gets 10mpg, with a fuel tank capacity of 20 gallons.

Opposite the house where we were staying was a lake and we went for a short stroll.

Sorry Jack (Curmudgeon)look the other way for the last two.

Canon 650D, 18-55, Tamron 18-400mm lens.

Please try the downloads.

Rainy, foggy, drizzly cool day. Tide was running out.

Z9, 600pF. Backgrounds are good in this set.

Caught the Pintail Flush when the Bald Eagle started screaming. Another eagle to the West had flown into the estuary area out of my sight initiating the flush.

The Kingfisher was back fishing and flying around, once the eagles had landed.

The gulls were up to their usual antics.

Download and enjoy!

i see you are still doing some outstanding shooting, tim...great job and love all of them, and
