This the one I use -
http://www.berger-bros.com/BRSW1.htmIt connects via the the tri-pod mount and I have never had any issues. That portion spins freely so there is never any pressure on the screw, making it want to come loose. And it is zig-zagged in the middle for those of us with boobage. The camera hangs facing down and it is adjustable so it can be where you want, on hip, leg, etc. I spent all of last summer walking the length of Fire Island with it on me and camera was very safe and survived the season unscathed.

I have a Cannon SX 50 and can't seem to find the setting that allows me to shoot an image over 640X480 and .3M in size.( this at an aspect ratio of 4.3) The images are averaging about 150kb in size. ( the manual shows 12M 4000x3000 at this A.R.) . Would this have anything to do with the memory card I am using. I have searched the manual but can't come up with a solution. Any help would be great.
I totally cheated and bought a "cheat sheet" from Photo Bert on Amazon. It was $10 bucks, tri-folded, laminated, full color 8 1/2x11 in. And printed on both sides. I learned more with my previous camera, Nikon P500, by playing with every setting, button, etc. and intended to do the same with my SX50. The cheat sheet just sped it up a bit and it's handy to have in my back pack.

Hey Steenowitz,
First three for me are the best. Good compositions and colors lend to a greater interest and movement. Last set doesn't carry the same weight of topic, i.e. where do I look, what's the most important thing in the frame? The sandpiper is good, but the angle makes the character in play blend in too much. Maybe a shot more in profile would have worked better. Keep going on field trips so we can all enjoy!
Thank you for that, jeez this is refreshing. You forced me took look at them completely differently, I am inspired! In my defense though, I had no idea pipers move like cockroaches, hard little bugger to catch. Thank you for the input, I am indeed searching out another field trip :)
A park in Merrick, NY built on top of a dump! The landfill has been turned into a preserve on the south shore with a Vita Walk and outstanding views. I used both my old rebel with a Tamaron 300mm lens and my new Powershot SX50. I can't wait for spring to see the difference in flora and wild life!
Mallard in the pond at the very top
Ducks out on a mission
The parks power source
A tubby Mocking bird filling up on berries
Piper pillaging the weeds
Silhouette of NYC from the top
The Jones Beach needle from the pier on the preserve
Because the powershot allows it, I HAD to zoom in on the Empire State Building!
It wasn't the nicest day, these clouds brought an evening snow shower
How was the Vivian Maier exhibit? Amazing?
I have a Rebel that is old and for the last year have carried a Nikon P500 in my purse. The macro's are awesome, and my moon shots...well...orgasmic. But the depth and quality of my 10 pixel Rebel cannot be matched by it otherwise. Until I have the lenses for moons and macro, they have to share my attention & affection equally.
Thank you. This trip was with my Canon Poweshot SX50. The zoom on it is impressive, I grabbed a shot of a Zim Container Line ship as we were coming back into NY, it was headed to the NJ piers. Moving containers is the business I'm in so it was exciting for me :)

Did you happen to see the crazy orange moon earlier in the week, Monday night I think?
They are my favorite, though I have to hide my camera from the friendly Southwest staff during take off, it's worth it. I just returned from a quick business trip to Miami, FL and was able to grab a surprisingly clean window

Beautiful shots, the humming birds are gorgeous! I've become a hawk stalker myself. Grabbed a shot of a Sharp Shin only yesterday.
Oh my God, he is adorable
Thank you, and yes, I will!
