Thank you for the complement.
Some folks here talk the talk and walk the walk. Others can only talk the talk, because they are basically talking head trolls with no real practical photographic skill.
If I could see a post with an actual image instead of dribble it might, just might, change my opinion.
Again, many thanks for your complement. It means a lot to me that others enjoy my images. I post daily on three sites here in Florida. My favorite comments from my buds are, "you make our day" "enjoy my coffee and my daily images from you"
I do so constructively and I am not a talking head who uses cute imagined non sensical phrases about mirrorless camera's superiority which is basically just plain old trolling in disguise.
But, I digress. So, I am posting another image taken with a mirrored camera for your benefit because you have been so kind to comment on my images. Enjoy, it is of a male Great Blue Heron passing a stick for the nest to the female that is laying on eggs and did not wish to stand up to get the stick.
Nikon D500, Nikon 200-500 mm 5.6
Thank you for the complement. br Some folks here ... (show quote)

This is a new one, but thanks for checking. I have a habit of buying and then changing my mind, (a woman’s prerogative, lol)

I understand. In one year I bought and sold three Nikon D810’s. I finally kept one. LOL

To all that provided anecdotes in support of home insurance riders - the operative thoughts in my post were "Beware of non-scheduled rider policies on home insurance." Those are the low cost ones with higher deductibles and depreciated reimbursement. When you provide a schedule of gear and insure for replacement costs, it's usually better. But still, I had two claims in one year with a scheduled rider that were paid promptly without question. But at renewal time the cost went up and upon attempting to switch my homeowner's insurance coverage to a different company, I had trouble getting any kind of insurance from anyone.

Just a cautionary tale - to be considered.

As a retired insurance agent, listen to him. What he says is a Fact. At some point- policy renewal or otherwise, you will see a difference. Insurance companies keep up with something called FREQUENCY. You WILL pay for claims- SOONER or LATER. When you try to get other insurance, all insurance companies us CLUE reports to find your claims. Then it’s Happy Hunting! Or maybe not so happy hunting for another company to insure you.

For buying or selling, I go to them First. Very classy organization. They have always paid me the quoted amount or something higher than the quote. Superior service much better than I have experienced at KEH.

What about the folks, like me, who own Canon, Nikon and Sony gear? Are we considered Nikon people? I personally don't consider myself a Nikon person although my daily shooter is a D850. I usually have two cameras available, my D850 and my EOS 5D mk IV.
I do own more Canon gear than Nikon, but as I already stated, my daily shooter is a Nikon. All my "mirrorless" gear is Canon and most of my bridge cameras are Canon. I don't classify people by the manufacturer of the gear they own.
