Very creative work, Randy! Go Go just gets better and better!

Thanks, lensbaby. The Martian has always felt that GoGo was quite a talent, and worth keeping on at the Ministry as Artist-in-Residence. A few have questioned his thinking on the matter (and in particular as regards GoGo's Joy Juice addiction), but I suspect time will prove him right.

Thanks for the very kind words (which I'll pass along to GoGo when he sobers up) and your visit, always most appreciated!

Gogo has out done himself. But I have been conducting a little research on removing green time. Over many hours in dusty libraries I have discovered that there are incantations designed exactly for that purpose. A little known Society of Holy Incantation Tables ( I will let others figure out the acronym) has worked out the precise wording to reduce or maybe even remove green time. Only problem is finding the monk trained in reciting incantations. I will conduct further research on the subject.

Thanks, Bob. Similar research on blocking/removing green time spells was carried out at the Sam Houston Institute of Technology some forty years ago, and the counter-curse spells were proven to be no more effective than placebo. The control group (placebo) average for green time was--in fact--slightly less than the counter-curse group, and the chi-square was significant to three decimal places. The Counter-Curse Project was abandoned in favor of research on the long-term health effects of bugs for lunch. Still looks promising--significantly lower cholesterol in the Bugs-for-Lunch group, as compared to the control group (McDonald's Quarter Pounders w/ Cheese). A substantive paper on the topic should be appearing in the New England Journal of Medicine any day now.

Thanks for the kind comment and the laugh, always very much appreciated, and thanks for stopping by!

Great shot, Treepusher. GoGo deserves a "Get Out of Green Time Free" card

Thanks, Greg. GoGo was smart to score some points with Madame P, and earning his ‘Get Out of Green Time Free’ card was a stroke of genius.

Unfortunately, he’ll likely need to use it before the day’s over, as he’s usually in more trouble than I am.

The Dark Ladies all forgive him quickly because they like his paintings. I get no such consideration, do I? Hmmph!!!!

Lol!

Thanks for the kind comments and visit, always much appreciated!

So sad to see a place like that fall into ruin. Nice job of documenting it.

Another great presentation.

Thanks, Hal. She has a face that would launch a thousand ships. Or at least a couple of rowboats and a boogie board. But you can bet they'd be sturdy rowboats, and the boogie board colorful!

LOL

Thanks for your very kind comment and visit, it's always greatly appreciated!

Beautiful work again, Randy! Love the textured background and violet hues.

Thank you, Donna. I lost count of the overlays I used on this one, lol. The last layer was one of my old shots of a Mimosa flower, complete with stems and leaves! Added a hint of pink to the lavender, and a dash of green, to keep the heavy purple tones from overwhelming the image and becoming boring. Always fun, trying to find things that work, and I'm pleased you enjoyed the image.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, they're always most appreciated!

Pondering something sinister perhaps!!!...you never know with a beautiful lady!!

Thanks, Bob. I suspect she's feeling bad about the last-minute menu change, wondering what she could have done differently. There were some not-so-muffled comments about the missing Baked-Stuffed Children yesterday. The turkey was okay, as was the gravy, but Thanksgiving just isn't Thanksgiving without a big helping of her BSC.

Ah, well. Next year.

Thanks for stopping by and the laugh, always very much appreciated!

Go Go did another great portrait of Madam P. Randy.

Thanks, Jan. He's on a roll, lol. And if he doesn't watch out, he'll be on that roll with cheese and mustard! Madame P isn't above making a minor change to her renowned Seafood Salad recipe to include a little artistic license, or should I say a little licensed artist...

Thanks for your very kind comment and visit, always much appreciated!

Well done Go Go excellent work as always.

Thanks, Angler. GoGo’s doing some serious brown-nosing here. I know Christmas is coming, but it’s not like Madame P spends her off time dressing up as Santa Claus!

Sure, he got a pass on his next transgression, but that will likely be sometime in the next five minutes, and then what’s he going to do!?

Oh, well. I suppose I shouldn’t be jealous. He’s the only one here who’s spent more time sitting on a lily pad than I have. And he’ll be having bugs for lunch by dinner tonight, just you wait and see.

Thanks as always for your kind comments and visit, they’re very much appreciated!

As a little insurance against any future transgressions, the Ministry of Mayhem's Artist-in-Residence, GoGo van Goghgogh, has created yet another masterwork (!?) for Madame P.

She was well-pleased with his effort, and gifted him a rare (and highly coveted) "Get Out of Green Time Free" card.

I'm jealous.

Very well done! Only tip I might have would be to experiment a bit with blending modes after you make your initial conversion. You can get some really interesting effects.

This was done with mirrors, right? LOL Great shot, Jan!

Had six of them in my yard yesterday, demanding their own Thanksgiving feast!
