Another good lookin' and I'm sure good tasting post, thanks AP. I'm told that the Philadelphia food known as scrapple contains every part of the pig but the oink! Cheers, chase

love homemade scrapple. well almost homemade. we use to raise about 100 +or- hogs a year and sent them to a butcher 6 at a time. when we wrapped them for our own freezer. i would eat the run over from the scrapple pans and would almost get sick from eating to much. aaahhh the good old days.

Good capture - however, are you sure it is a barn? Never saw a 3 story barn but that is not impossible.

we had a 4 story barn. bottom livestock, second granary and feed & other storage. third and fourth were different level hay and straw storage. and i have seen much larger barns.. many hay lofts were 25 -30 feet tall, floor to roof.

Thanks! Those trees are pretty far away, for the lens I was using (24-105mm on a full frame). A close in crop wouldn't yield as much detail as I'd like. Besides, the purpose of this, particular, shot was to capture my daily view, at a time when it had become, temporarily, quite special. Also, I did not want to walk out on the course, because I would have created footprints that just might have appeared in a subsequent shot.

got it sir.... thanks

like it ..... one or a million.......brings back memories... lift other side and realign ..2x4 on fulcrum makes it easy... good for another million... did it many times until we replace it with tube and rollers... ours were about 9' wide x 15' high double doors
