I don't pretend to know, but if you're really interested, I'll look it up for you.

I think you are probably smart enough to see where I am going with this. My opinion is the act of registering to v**e in the particular state of residence requires some form of identification (driver's license, birth certificate, etc.) depending upon the particular state. I suppose some states just might require an affirmation that the applicant is a citizen, but I am not willing to spend the time to research in detail. So, the argument that requiring v**ers to produce ID to v**e is really no more onerous than having to produce ID when registering to v**e. To me, if a person cannot produce ID at the time of v****g how did they r******r to v**e in the first place?

So if you did not have a driver's license, how would you register? What if one of the folks you reference in earlier posts lived in Arkansas and had no driver's license or no birth certificate, how would they r******r to v**e?

Not even affirming that you are a citizen?

One cannot afford accidents with a weapon. A civilian uses a weapon to either hunt or in an act of self defense. Prior to using a weapon one should go through training. The best course is given by the military and it is rather simple:

a. General Commands. The following are general commands and may be altered when necessary.

"Firers, assume the _____ position."
(Issue the firer ___ rounds of ammunition.)
"Coach, secure ___ rounds of ammunition.
"Lock one round, load"
"Ready on the right?"
"Ready on the left?"
"Ready on the firing line?"
"Commence firing when your targets appear."
"Cease firing, lock and clear all weapons."

Read it, study it, learn it, memorize it and make these rules govern your weapon behavior.

And even with all of this, accidents on military ranges happen, especially in "the field" for annual qualifications. One millisecond of inattention sometimes is all it takes.

NOW you are worried about "a fair and objective criminal investigation"? Aren't people like you already proclaiming Clinton guilty in the FBI email probe before the investigation has even been completed? And don't even get me started on B******i (spoiler alert: still nothing there).

But let an i***t get his son k**led on gun range and NOW you are all fussy about "a fair and objective criminal investigation".

Precious.

The challenge I have with the Hillary email situation is the strong possibility of significant political influence in the outcome of the FBI investigation. From what I have seen in this matter it is apparent she, in the very least, did not comply with established policy and procedure. An arrogant and self serving action. And an action that has a significant potential negative impact on the security of the United States.

But I agree the same standard for criminal investigation should apply in practice. Both issues are surrounded with a political climate that detracts from the objectiveness we hope is prevelant in our justice system. But we all know justice is not always fair and objective.

Your closed mind and willingness to jump to conclusions is exactly what I am talking about. And I would never attempt to lecture you as it is apparent you already know everything and my efforts would be a waste of time.

I feel sorry for this child that was c***ted out of his life by his asshole father.

For the father I have absolutely zero sympathy. I seriously hope that this haunts him for the rest of eternity.

Maybe you can hope for a fair and objective criminal investigation in this matter. Oh wait...I see you already have that taken care of! Sorry, never mind.....

Keenan is thinking like Trump (you know, painting a group of people with the same brush because of a few miscreants....Syrian immigrants.) So is Trump a liberal in disguise or is Keenan a conservative in disguise?

In order to v**e isn't it required to be registered in the state or one's residence? What states do not require any proof of citizenship to register? So if a state requires proof of citizenship why is requiring ID at the time of v****g such a big deal for some folks? Sounds like more political bulls**t to me!

This was beyond stupid.

All of these, including the gun range death, were all accidents. All of them tragedies that rips open the hearts of their loved ones forever. All of them preventable if people were just paying attention and following laws and rules. And here in the USA we k**l 41,000 people from second hand smoke. 88,000 people die each year from alcohol and reduces life expectancy by 30 years. Should I go on? When you start to be as concerned about all things that are legal that bring harm to others, I'll start to take your arguments against guns serious.

The Democrats have Bill instead! But on a serious note, Trump is the best Independent in the race. He just happened to high jack the Republican party for infrastructure.
