I never really encountered right wingers up close much before I joined UHH a couple of years ago. Since then, I have learned some surprising things about right wingers that I didn't know about before. One of the more surprising things I learned is the fact that most of them are thinking about gay sex every day and obsess about homosexuality and male g*****ls, other people's rectums, and rectal functions.

Also, the most popular response/rebuttal of a right winger to a liberal or other non-right-winger who they disagree with is to start babbling about gay sexual acts usually involving oral or anal sex with the penis, p********a, beastiality, or to hurl homosexual slurs. That is based on two years of observation of the behavior of dozens of right wingers here, who represent the majority of right wingers that post in this forum.

Anybody disagree?

That explains your view of the world that left is right and right is wrong 100% of the time. Both sides have their points and getting along through compromise and debate allows most to get along and work toward a better world for all.

See you are making the jump from some being like that to all must be like that. And no they are not the majority of right wing believers here, just a large portion of those who only inhabit the Attic for the most part. Not at all like most conservatives of the world, except in the view of the left leaning media, most of whom really know no one of any other view points either. The news rooms and faculty lounges are full of them and for the most part they do not plot plan to take the left wing view of the world. They just never associate with anyone who thinks differently and therefore don't know how to get along with or co-exist with others of different view point. It is often a shock to them that someone else thinks differently and disagrees with them. And a great many of them are so isolated from other thought that they think the conservatives must be evil or something. Nope just different.

Conservatives do not get up planning to kick puppies and kittens, oppress minorities or the poor or any of those other things. Hah! Surprise, their are conservative minorities, conservative gays and conservatives for the most part do care about people. We just have different ideas about the best way to help and improve the world.

Robert, a measured and reasonable response as usual, if we were all as thoughtful the attic would be a very different place. Your observation about a, "view of the world that left is right and right is wrong 100% of the time", is very much a two way street. This thread is about a level of squalor tolerated by admin for financial gain.

I'm on a handful of special interest sites and none are like the attic. One site's only rules are ... " no religion, no politics, no cussin' ". The others tolerate religion and politics but civility is mandatory, people get banned, threads get locked. For good reason, open slather name calling poisons the rest of a site. Once people get used to being civil on a site most threads stay family friendly.
