there's a popular/famous photographer here in my town that seems to favor places just like this as locations for his shoots.(most of his work is nudes of beautiful women)

That path looks so inviting, just have to ask, where does it lead to?

I cut that trail myself with a DR Brushwacker. It affords me access to the thirteen acres of land that came with the house.

It gives me views of the cattle and deer pastures that surround my property. I cut it so I could take my camera and go on short hikes. It's about a mile long.

Also with a streetcar (not bus) in that pic(#1) to make it obvious it's San Fran.....

This is an electric, articulated bus. Streetcars run on steel wheels on steel tracks, not rubber tires.

Anybody here ever hear of the New York Institute of Photography? I am thinking of taking their course and am wondering if it would be worth my time and money. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I just enrolled. It is$28 for the enrollment and $45 a month for 8 months with the last month $10. Of course if you have the money up front it is $348, I just did not have it to spare in one payment. I should be getting my first kit any day now. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

This is/was the best film camera I ever owned. Since I no longer shoot film I am letting it go. Advertising here before EBay. The camera is in perfect working order. Being sold without lenses. It is in beautiful condition with no dings or scratches. Shoots 6 frames per second. I have a battery for it but no charger and haven't used it for years.

Any reasonable offer and shipping takes it.

i still have my eos630. i loved that camera till digital convenience made it impractical for me. still can't bring myself to get rid of it though.

it's better to leave it on. the more often you open & close your camera that way, the more often there's an opportunity for dust & dirt to get inside.

Hey Everyone!
I just got a Canon 3tsi for Christmas and I need to know ( a lot, actually), is it ok to leave the lense on the camera body or is it better to remove it every time I am finished using my camera? Thanks for anyone taking their time to answer my...question!

I have the opposite problem with members of my extended family. They get upset if their picture is taken. Since I've gotten my Canon SX30 with it's low light ability and articulated LCD screen I can take their picture without them even being aware of it.

yes, i certainly have the opposite problem myself. i can't seem to find that many people who even want to be photographed, even for free, these days. i've been wanting to get practice on portraits & can't find anyone wanting photographed.
