Years ago I purchased an old Dell server. It came with dual Xeon processors (quad core), 8 gig of ram. I still use it as my main graphics machine. It will not run windows 10 but who cares. It cost me $125 delivered. It runs at the same speed as several of the i7s with 6 cores. I could upgrade the processors to a higher speed for about $60. But why. I worked for HP but I like the desk desktops the best. Good computing.
After high school (in the mid 60's) I drove one of these for a pharmacy doing deliveries.

He was pressured by the hospital collation and made a deal to send them back to the nursing homes. The old people did not have to pay as much because of Medicare.

Lord's Prayer

The Lord's Prayer is not allowed in most U.S. Public schools any more.
A kid in Minnesota wrote the following NEW School Prayer:-

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd
If scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the State.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong.
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!

I believe that the Dems are fearful of a debate and are more concerned as to who will be his running mate as this person will most likely be the president in the second year if not the first. Joe is unstable and it shows.
I was born and raised in Akron Ohio. Many of my friends were black as were some of my favorite teachers. My last two years of high school were in Marietta when we moved here. In the high school where I finished there were no b****s. I was astonished. Many years later I started to not like many of the b****s that I encountered at stores because I felt no respect as an individual. I still have black friends that I like and have had several black families in my neighborhood as well as people of many other origins. I like all my neighbors. It is how one is treated that can lead to misgivings toward others.
There are two problems with the police departments: 1) most are already under funded 2) the unions.
The unions protect the good officers but also protect the bad ones. With the unions you cannot get rid of the bad ones. It is the same the teachers.
